Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Sooo, went to Kroger with the wife and as some of you know I’ve been pretty sick over this past week. Still have a nasty cough but pretty good otherwise. So we’re in the line to check out and I start coughing, wife said something like you need to go to the dr, I said “it’ll pass I didn’t start coughing until I go back from China”.

The stares were precious.

I asked on here earlier, what do you think about the CDC's 14 day mandatory quarantine?

I wonder what the fatality rate is for normal flu outbreaks?
Depends on the age group. Overall, I believe it is usually around 0.01% (1 for every 10,000 diagnosed). The mortality rate for children and otherwise-healthy younger adults is more like 0.001% (1 in 100,000). The H1N1 pandemic reached around 0.1%, IIRC.
