Worley has the STONES. We beat USC a year ago if Rogers catches pass from Worley that hit him in stride on goal line.

Just sayin'

He through one in the Vandy game about 25 yards into the left corner of the end zone for a sure touchdown that hit Hunter square in the face mask, which of course he didn't catch. It reminded me of Worley throwing a bomb against So. Carolina the year before, that hit Da'Rick right in the hands, which of course, he also dropped. Worley has skills. You'll see if you give him a chance.

Hey guys, brand new to the board here.... just wanted to say hey and go vols.... also I am a coach in Nashville and I was fortunate enough to visit with ut the Thursday before spring break. Worley is def better than the others I saw at practice Peterman could move around.. I would say he looked an awful lot like Andrew luck in technique bit had the comparison stopped there. If I was to guess.... Worley is the starter as of last week.

Not really a dooley supporter (or hater because I recognize he got us back with talent at the least) but off the top of my head

Plays against bama like the fake punt that kept the game in hand early on (and we got blasted in the 2nd half yes, but that was lack of depth and playing Bama more than coaching, nobody knew their QB was gonna come out throwing like an all american.)

fake field goal against mizzou in over time (yes he screwed up big time by not going for it in regulation, but a good play call is still a good play call)

I'll take a position coach in the NFL over a coordinator in college any day, unless its one of the best 10 schools in america, and even then its a case by case basis.

Am not advocating for any one of these guys; it will all get sorted out by folks more knowledgeable than me.

But I have no great problem with them throwing some picks in spring practice. This is a time to attempt things and to get a better feel for what can and can't be done. Mistakes are learning opportunities, and if they can get some of them out of their systems now, then better now than later.

At this point I think Worley has the advantage still a ways to go. Peterman needs to quit throwing interceptions.

This a thread about the QB battle..please please please all of you wannabe comedians and BSers don't post in here...only people with actual news and insight please post...let's keep this strictly on topic. I tried going through the other QB thread and it is filled with a bunch of nonsense and off topic rants or jokes.

The only thing i have gathered so far is Peterman is throwing more pics in practice and Worely is commanding the huddle better.

If anyone has stuff to add then please do....if not...then please don't comment.

I just can't wait for Dobbs and Ferguson to get here and see what their all about know one is gonna know anything intil that happens. As of now it looks like Justin over Nathan.

For the love of all that's holy (Neyland Stadium for example), don't even think of posting a response that's in the slightest bit irreverent or jocular. That just wouldn't be cricket.
