I think Holmes chooses Texas and Cox chooses Notre Dame. I'm hoping that our staff is putting the Full Court Press on Tori McCoy. Out of the Big 3, I think realistically we have a chance of landing McCoy. I think Holmes and Cox official visits to Tennessee are "thank you for recruiting me" visits. I would put all my eggs in McCoy's basket.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Cox doesn't look like a #1 recruit in this class to me. I haven't seen much of her, but from that video she looks rather slow and like she needs to hit the weights. She is fundamentally sound, footwork looks good, but she looks like she's going to take some time to adjust to the college level, From the limited videos I've saw I'd put McCoy and Holmes ahead of Cox. Am I missing something?

Just saw that vid was from 2013 lol

I think you are missing something, I saw her play last summer and I think she looked as good as Stewie did while still in high school

I agree, Holmes is much better, more athletic, quicker leaper and stronger, doesn't fade on her shot and finishes better around the basket, she is also a much better defender. I also think McCoy is better, more athletic, better laterally, and she missed time, so in the long run both will be better prospects. We would be in great shape with either. I don't see any comparison to Stewie whatsoever, they are completely different players, Cox is a true 5 and Stewie well more of a hybrid.

Cox is nowhere near the same level as Stewart. Nowhere near as athletic and nowhere near as skilled.

And no, she isn't the best recruit in this class. Holmes is IMO. Cox is definitely top five, but Cox hasn't been the best recruit in this class in quite a while.

That's why I don't understand why they still have her at the top! But the same could be said about Mercedes being the #1 recruit in her class....imo she was #3 at best. Diamond was the clear #1 player in that class that year.

LOL because THEY, like the rest of us, don't buy the stuff crazy shovels, yes she is the best in the class, she isn't a 5, and not a perfect 4 but she is a 3, 4 high-breed, and every bit as talented as Stewie was at this point. She doesn't have the 3 ball that Stewie didn't have until her second year in college, but she has the touch, and the great release, she plays well within her size, and has never not delivered in AAU or high school. As for Mercedes being number 1, well, I love Diamond, but if she tries to play like she did at UNC she will not be the answer we need, she played out of control too much, and that team was very undisciplined for the talent level. A 6ft6 with great hands, great stats, and smarts, will be number one recruit over a normal sized scoring machine anytime, because the potential at next level, and beyond is greater, just is. I would bet money Mercedes has a better year team player wise than Diamond, but that would be dividing a team, just watch, she will prove her ranking this year.

Ummmmmm please show me where I EVER said that. LOL!!!!! I NEVER said that. You're either making it up or you have me confused with someone else.

You are so wrong it's hilarious -- which ironically makes you fit in quite well with some others on this board. On what I supposedly said about Simmons and about Cox. Deal with it, please. Your ignorance really isn't my problem, so stop trying to make it my problem. And instead of acting defensive when you're wrong about something, just be an adult and own it. You've been doing this crap for many years.

Obviously you know I know your writing also for years, your memory is your problem and so are your delusions, but I stand behind calling you out as to what I quoted you on, I admit when I am wrong, forgetting your comments isn't in that area. I know a nasty poster when I run into one, nor do I forget their dumb comments, you got called out for yours, you deal with it.

You are joking I hope! She has NO 3 skills whatsoever and I would like to see any footage of the same. She is not a 4 either! She is a true 5 who has great blocking skills from playing volleyball, her lateral movement is limited and her shot is off balance. Her shooting stats at the 5 are not great as she tends to fade and has no real spin moves or reverse post moves, but then again none of the bigs have great posts moves, the other 2 are just more athletic and can make up for lack of moves with their ability to jump and turn in the air. She needs a really good post coach and then she can use her size to her advantage as right now she is able to score over smaller players in high school but she struggles against other posts with similar size or bigger.

I'm telling you I didn't say that. Your anti-Simmons bias has obviously clouded what little good judgment you have. I would never say anything about the WNBA as it's not something I follow, and it never really has been.

And dude, even if I *did* say that, it has nothing to do with your comparison of Cox to Stewart, which is an incredibly stupid and off-base comparison. So no I don't have to deal with anything.

I am trying very hard to have faith that we will get at least one big time big. If we go another year and not fill all of our scholarships, or take care of our main position of need, I think our program is in trouble.

Can anyone tell me why The Lady Vols are not interesting in recruiting Cune? I think that is her name.

IMO, both McCoy and Holmes are better the Cox.

That being said, Cox is very good and I would love to have her at Tennessee. I still think she goes to ND.
