I don't have hatred for the rest of the world. But thanks anyway for attempting to be an internet psychologist. Please don't quit your day job. Please don't mistake my annoyance over being told what to do by pollyannas as being related to anything outside of this message board.

Ironic that you say this because in the past I've actually tried to share information I know on here, and was met with animosity -- as have many others when it comes to sharing what may be considered protected information about recruits, former players, etc. A parent of a former softball player was crucified for sharing information that wasn't deemed as 'positive', and he is MUCH closer to the program and knows a crap ton more than any fan on here. Some reactions that have been displayed here have been downright strange to me, but whatever. This 'oh em gee these are little girls and we can't criticize them or they'll get their feelings hurt' act some LV fans going on is for the birds. Nobody is personally attacking a player or a coach. If anyone thinks saying the team 'played scared' is some sort of a personal attack, then they're doing nothing but contributing to the watered-down, everyone-gets-a-trophy-for-participating pussification of today's society. People ARE allowed to have an opinion on the team (any team) that isn't always candy clouds and lollipops. If this were about football or men's basketball it wouldn't even be a discussion. But all hell breaks loose if it's a women's team. It's like clockwork.

And I'm betting that "anything of substance" to you means towing the party line and never having anything honest to say about the team. You pollyannas kill me. Always trying to censor what others are saying. "OMG, you said they played scared!!! What a horrible person. How dare you. Who do you think you are having an honest opinion that I don't agree with?" :angry:

You could potentially be an adult and just move on to the next post. Of course another option is you could put me on ignore ... like I've had to do to several people here, like gule and sandvol. i am sure you have heard that, however, a weekend visit, and what might happen, are beyond what someone thinks they know, and told you. I honestly believe we have a 50/50 shot. ever been to northern Indiana in the 8 months hell? it is 2.5 hours of ghetto to Chicago, and in the middle of frozen nowhere. Now she very well might be a lean, but future teammates, dorms, climate, fan base are important. Remember, at Notre Dame all athletes live in normal student dorms and they are not state of the art, but out dated and small.

For great recruits like Megan Walker I say "don't give up ". Both Brown and Mompremier were said to be TN leans. Maya Moore too. We all know how that ended up.

How any post player could look at the opportunity right in front of them at Tn and pass it up is more telling on their mindset than Holly's ability or not. do you want to be a leader or a follower?

I don't know how we lost out on the first two but UCONN pulled some stuff by setting up Maya's mom in business in Storrs and moving her up there. It was one of the reasons that Pat refused to play them anymore.

Agreed. Mulkey and mom were tight. We are not getting Cox, don't know why she is visiting us and Uconn as we are not an option. Baylor has the only chance against ND due to vicinity. But I also feel very good about McCoy and she is better option and worth the wait.

I disagree. There is a specific reason I believe we are on the outside with Uconn, some specific knowledge from people who had some personal experiences that makes us just a name on the list like Uconn. I would message you but don't know how.
