The statement was intended to show that the product on the floor was so bad that the highlight of the game was trying to get on kiss cam.

This is the kind of big man UCONN keeps. He'd be a great and much needed pickup. I hope we get him. 6'09" or 6'10" athletic shot blocker who can finish strong with an open path. Sounds great.

If you read the article, what do you take away from the comment from Tobias to Lekan, about really liking CCM?

I never like to read into things too far, but it tends to happen with the profession.

Anyway, I think that the comment actually means something more, as in Tobias coming back.

This is complete optimism, and it could be a benign comment, but I don't see it as such.

It means exactly what it says: that Tobias really likes Cuonzo.

That doesn't mean Tobias will return to UT--for him, the NBA is a business decision. If his reports come back and say he's likely in the first <whatever> of the draft, and he likes that number, he goes; if not, he stays.

The fact that he likes Martin, though, probably means that if the number is close to what Tobias wants but not quite as high as he'd like, then he'll come back to school for a year.

To summarize TOS:

Tennessee does not view him as a primary target, although a Vols staff member has "tentatively" scheduled a meeting for next Monday. He is considering Wake Forest and Seton Hall in addition to us. He plans on making his decision next Tuesday which TOS says is not a good sign for our chances since we are only meeting with him for the first time the day before he decides.
