I know where u r coming from but little killed someone n Lewis was a drug dealer.. I loved them both while n orange but not sure they r the best to represent the orange at practice...imo

Their past could also make them different people today like Ray Lewis....or I could be wrong and they never learned their lesson like pacman jones

I did not bring up anything bad about Lewis, nor have I commented, but looking at the world through orange colored glasses is sure evident on Vol Nation. Apparently, conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute 5 kilos of cocaine, and being sued by Regions Bank for an unpaid $660,000 loan are not to be held against you if you ever carried an egg shaped leather ball across a certain stripe on the field at Neyland Stadium, for which you were afforded 6 points towards helping your team win. If he had not helped the Vols win, or had done same in Tuscaloosa, he would be just an ex-con.

You are not seeing the point. He's kind to former players. Also, you did bring it up by bringing it up. You are possibly a Vandy fan.

Now if Butch can get Majors AND Fulmer at the same practice, then we'd have one big, happy, orange family.

so in your first sentence you say I did not bring up anything bad about Lewis. But then you do exactly that. Hilarious. Well played, NOT. Love how you bring up the failed drug war and then an unpaid loan to a bank but then you don't fault LL for killing a woman while driving drunk. You sir are a hypocrite.
I would like to make a couple of points.

1) I said that I had not said anything bad about Lewis in my first sentence to differentiate myself from previous posters. It should be obvious to any moron that I did weigh in on the subject. I didn't promise that I wouldn't.

2) I am not a hypocrite as I suffered many ugly comments from people like yourself, with orange blinders on when I gave my opinion on Leonard Little a couple of months ago. I didn't feel it necessary to relive that situation.

3) I gather from the pro-crime crowd that if you want to commit a crime, then be sure that you wear an orange jersey and help U.T. win prior to said crime. If you follow these simple instructions, all will be forgiven by people who live their meaningless lives vicariously through the football team.

And Unfortunately, that pales in comparison to what Little did however, I am glad to see Butch welcoming the past. Apparently he has learned from the previous coach's mistakes!!!

I don't think anyone on here is condoning Lewis' or Little's past crimes. I'd venture to say that we all at least want to appreciate the good things they've done for the university and improve the team camaraderie. Just because an apple has a bad spot doesn't mean you throw out the whole apple...especially when you're hungry.
