Or a prosecutor who believes in right and wrong.
I never said that I was a prosecutor. I just stated that it was a possibility as a response to some guy who accused me of being a Vandy fan. I'm not that either.Have you ever seen the statue of "justice", you know the blindfolded lady holding the scales?
There is some symbolic value to that that I think you missed.
I shudder to think that there are actually prosecutors who are so caught up in the infalability of the government's position that they have lost sight of the fact that when justice is extracted upon the perpetrator, that the debt to society has been repaid.
Justice is about equilibrium, not about continuing a vendetta against those who have been tried and punished or tried and freed.
I'm glad CBJ has these guys at practice. It's important. But y'all are just ridic acting as if it's some kind of spectacular outside of the box thinking. Seriously y'all. Smh.:ermm:
Dooley was the one that brought Majors back around and had his support. Nothing in CBJs history could say he would have been able to reach out to him to start mending fences as quick as dooley was able to either.
And for you doofuses that need links and reminders of Majors thoughts on Dooley here you go:

I would like to make a couple of points.
1) I said that I had not said anything bad about Lewis in my first sentence to differentiate myself from previous posters. It should be obvious to any moron that I did weigh in on the subject. I didn't promise that I wouldn't.
2) I am not a hypocrite as I suffered many ugly comments from people like yourself, with orange blinders on when I gave my opinion on Leonard Little a couple of months ago. I didn't feel it necessary to relive that situation.
3) I gather from the pro-crime crowd that if you want to commit a crime, then be sure that you wear an orange jersey and help U.T. win prior to said crime. If you follow these simple instructions, all will be forgiven by people who live their meaningless lives vicariously through the football team.

So are you saying that since Lewis and Little was allowed to attend a practice that we are supposed to turn our backs on UT football? Interesting.
So I assume that since they were both at practice and are not in jail that they both have paid their debts according to the laws of the land. So now it is not up to me nor you to continue judging them. As a law abiding citizen I hate what they did but I don`t hate them.
I wasn't the one who brought it up. The original poster's comments have been removed. As opposed to those that live their meaningless lives vicariously by getting onto football forums and dragging grudges around for no apparent reason?
He made mistakes. We all have to greater or lesser degrees. How would you feel if your mistakes were made public and people decided to dig them up every time you showed your face in public? Or would you rather they just went on with their lives and let you do the same?
It seems to me the "vicarious" life being lived here is the guy that thinks his self-righteous sense of righteous indignation is important enough to soil a perfectly good football discussion for everyone else.
