Leonard Little Tweets

I am aware of the story.

I wish that it was the worst or most egregious episode that has ever gone "unpunished" in our criminal justice system.

If putting him in jail would have brought back someone's mother, I would be all for it. Jail isn't a magical place that rehabilitates people, in fact it is the opposite. That might be why so many people who are convicted of that, and perhaps worse crimes, are let go on probation.

Tragedy is tragic. There is nothing worse than piling on by throwing rocks...

I know many people think they know the world by what they read in the newspaper and see on tv. You can usually tell who these people are by their ability to speak in black and white terms. Reality is far different. What Leonard did, or didn't do, is between him, the government, and the family of the victims.

Who am I to judge?
Nobody has ever been put in jail to bring back a dead person.

Truth is he was at a birthday party were a hundred people could have took his keys. But they didn't. That's a bad choice on there part. I am terribly sorry for the vicitms. Everyone on here is so quick to run their mouth behind the words they type. They wouldnt call LL in perosn a sob. I think i read somewhere that the vicitms husband forgave him.
I never said that he was a SOB, so I feel no need to tell him that in person. All I am saying is that some of you glorify a guy because he played a stupid game with a leather ball at U.T. If he was just another guy out of Asheville that drove drunk, killed someone, and then drove while drunk again, you wouldn't be quite so understanding.

I can't believe that you want to blame everyone at the party for not taking his keys, yet not blame him. One would have to be pretty brave to try to take his keys.

Hey now, I said no drinking and driving. Drinking and staying in front of the KB is perfectly acceptable.

You must have taken a hit off of the gravity bong.
You seem to be in different spirits now.:cool2:

If he didn't play at UT you would probably never have known about it and wouldn't be making a big deal over it on a message board. It happened, it was terrible, he deserves all the blame for it, but there is no need in every time his name comes up on here for some tool to throw out a DUI jab and kick up this conversation. Its a douche move.

"Hey LL just tweeted something!"
"Was it about DUI or killing someone?"
"No! It was about you being an embarrassing excuse for a human being!"

I never said i didnt blame him. But, if he blew a .19 he was pretty damn drunk someone should have. What he did was wrong but he did his punshiment and the family forgave him. I don't care about his past, I care about the tweet btw.

I did not start this thread, nor was I the person who brought up the DWI. My first post on this thread was on page 6, post # 78, in which I responded to someone who basically said that Little did not get preferential treatment. I then stated what he was charged with, and what his punishment was. Someone had already brought it up. I would not have brought it up, but I will respond to what I consider to be a false conclusion.
