Les Miles fired....

We want LSU to be strong. It hurts Bama and Fla.

Hate it for Les I think he's a great guy but we want LSU to be strong

Gotta be Briles. He can be had cheaper than he is worth, and I get the idea that they need cheap after the state legislature was threatening to take out football. Plus they have almost a year to work on a PR campaign.

I think Malzahn's next. It looked like both schools did zero to prepare the offense this year.

I'm just glade we are not gonna need a new coach this year with

ND
LSU
TEXAS
USC
AUBURN

all probably firing there coaches this year

Volnation would explode if we fired a 12 year HC with Les' career record after a 2-2 start. Many here would've imploded if we fired someone like Dooley at 2-2.

LSU will not go away. The state provides enough talent to keep them at or near the top. Les has been like a driver with a F1 race car, that didn't know how to drive a 40 hp vw from the 60's.

No he isn't... he should have fired Cam after the Wisconsin game... Les being gone is definitely a pretty good time to pull the trigger if someone has the money. My doubts were on the remaining contract.... I would say you are looking at a vast majority of the fan base feeling okay with this.

It is time.

I agree it's time. I wrote that he's an idiot IF he doesn't have the replacement lined up. I suppose Ed can drag them through the rest of the year, but there should still be someone in the wings.

Wasn't there a gofundme to buy his contract out after the Wisconsin loss? Maybe they got enough donations to do it. Lol

ND will not fire Kelly after this year. Firing his DC bought him another year, at least.

I couldn't be a GM because I would fire him even tho he deserves another year because there isn't many big name coaches available . And after this year might not be any

So obviously Tom Herman is number 1 on the LSU list who is number 2??

At one time Derek Dooley was their top choice to replace Miles

Would be interesting if Ed O does well this year - like he did at So Cal as interim coach. Maybe they keep him in the job and he recruits his good buddy Lane to join him on the staff (since he followed LK around all those years, it's time for Lane to return the favor)

I wonder what happens to Aranda at the end of the season. He surely would be retained by any incoming HC wouldn't he?
