Because those red states have the highest black populations. Left vs right isn’t your best correlation. Demographics are.

Until people start speaking honesty about the problem we can’t solve it. Instead people want to blame everything else (guns, democrats, republicans, etc). Because they’re afraid to speak about the real issue.

The issue with violence in America is an issue of broken black communities that we need to solve. Not an issue of political leanings nor of guns.

This entire thread is gross. I fully support attention drawn to people we’ve deported numerous times who then commit horrific crimes. But the overall theme seems to be “immigration bad”.

Immigration is fine in two cases:; 1) Migrant farm workers, construction workers, and service workers. They should only be allowed to stay for a certain amount of time before they have to return to their home country for an equal amount of time. 2) Those who go through the immigration process fully and have proven that they can provide for themselves without any government assistance whatsoever. We do NOT need any more poor permanent residents.

Illegal immigration is bad. Legal immigration good.

One crime is too many when it's preventable. The relatives of the taken are left to live with the fall out the rest of their lives.

I'd like to see a seasonal work immigration program and which those that consistently work and follow the the rules and laws have a pathway to citizenship. I also would like to see those business's that use the program and hire workers provide living arrangements for them. Till they gain citizenship then they are on their own..then immigrants can either choose that path or do the seasonal work and send the money back like they do now. But then at least we are getting those that wanna work and he part of the US instead of those just taking advantage of our dumb policies. There may be something like that already.

Because it should be on the business dime for seasonal work and not the tax payers..plus the main purpose of lower wages..so there should be a standard a believe..farms that a similar system set up for migrant workers with housing. Also that would force businesses to weight hiring migrants vs citizens. Lowe wage plus housing or higher wages...
