Let's compare Jesus and Muhammed (and debate homosexuality) (and Tombstone).

You are the one who harbors the personal grudge and the first to bring personality to the fore, between you and me.

You constantly call for a pissing contest between me and the Giblet yet I will say this much for him, whether he actually believes in the crap for which he seemingly advocates or as Rasputin suggests, is an imposter who exposes the idiocy of the left wing, he has the intelligence, unlike you, to at least be able to rebuild a carburator on a deuce and a half without having to refer to a manuel.

none of the multi-fuel M35A2's that I drove had carburetors, rather they had injectors. The newer M35A3's were diesel only, no carburetors in those either.

edit: I'll give gibbs credit as well. Despite knowing that I disagree with him on virtually every issue here and at times calling him some rather unsavory things, he has maintained a level of civility and good humor that, frankly, I don't think you're capable of showing. Your thread on monetizing the debt is a perfect example of your boorish behavior toward people that agree with you. Your current hostilities with therealUT and milo are further examples of your taking personally every disagreement with your ingrained orthodoxy. I take full responsibility for incurring your wrath, in fact, I delight in it. You are such an easy person to get a reaction out of, it's just a shame that you always want to make things personal.

I've told you about 10 times or so since I started posting on these boards... if you're going to insult someone's intelligence, please do so while spelling 2-4 syllable words correctly.

FTR, I only play spelling police when the perp has the nerve to criticize the intellectual capacity of another human being.

I thought he was making note of the automotive know-how of Latin-Americans

Qualities that every major religion has embraced, though.

I'm no world religion expert. That said, I would agree that its certainly a danger to become judgemental and self-righteous. That should not discredit Christ though, when he specifically taught against it.

The only way Christ displayed anything other than hypocrisy was if he was actually God. Since I do not believe he was (I'm not entirely convinced he ever existed), then I find a lot of hypocrisy in his "holier than thou" mannerisms.

But you've got to see that your point is moot to those of us that believe he is the Messiah.

May I ask what makes you believe this?

Yes. I have seen God's impact on the lives of many people that are very close to me. I've felt God's presence, and found the Bible's truths to be just that, truth. A simple comparison is the wind. You can't see or touch wind, you can't put wind in a box, yet you can feel it, and see the effects of it. I've found that all wisdom is God's wisdom. The world has taken God's wisdom and applied it to secular situations. Yet, its origin is the scriptures. I'm no theologian, so I'll not have every answer.

Do you all believe in wind?

Air in motion? I accept its existence. I accept that air can be measured, tested and explained.

I accept that the same can be said for air in motion, a la wind.

If you are attempting to equate this to god, I will only ask how we can measure and test either god, or the substances that compose said righteous diety.
