So, intentionally starving them, is somehow not quite as bad as what the German's did?? Interesting, I thought 50 million Christians dying over the course of 100 years was slightly more than the 6 million Jews who died in WW2. Hey, it's just numbers though.

It is far less silly than using two question marks for every interrogative.

You want your children to be clones of yourself; I do not. I want them to be themselves. When I am teaching them about sexuality, I will teach them that there are people who are attracted to and love members of the same sex. I will teach them that this is perfectly tolerated and accepted. I will teach them that if they have those feelings they should not be ashamed and that they should embrace such feelings.

a) it had nothing to do with them being christian

and

b) i'd say the starving came more from poverty and lack of resources than intent. i'm sure you are all for food stamps in this country right?

There are roughly 11M Jews in the world; exterminating 6M is exterminating more than half of that population.

There are roughly 1B Christians in the world; exterminating 50M is exterminating five percent.

I'm sure it increases the chances, yes. You have enough open bottles of alcohol in your house, and a kid is eventually going to drink some of it. Whether or not it makes them sick, is obviously unimportant, because it's all about tolerance, right??

i've lived with men all throughout college (one of them who was gay) and someone didn't end up engaging in gay sex with any of them. i guess some have better willpower than others.

I'd never thought about it in this way, until the epiphany inspired by Eric, however, if we allow gays in the military, eventually all Servicemembers will be gay.

There have been multitudes of intelligent believers; however, the arguments for belief and for a personal god displayed by some in here lack any intellectual standing.

I'll read C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterson, Maritain, Descartes, Pascal, Aquinas, Augustine, and the like all day; however, I will definitely brush off the irrational drivel presented by Kierkegaard and perpetuated by Buber and "advancements" in irrational thought proposed by their disciples (whether or not these people know they are disciples of these two).

He is completely irrational. He states that reason has no place and should not be used or referred to in any conversations concerning the existence of or myths of god. In doing so, he places himself outside the realms of both argument and discussion. At the same time, he also attempts to persuade others to believe in his god and ignore any and all natural evidence that works against Christian mythology.

I find that to be an incredibly cheap cop-out.
