CNNSI article states after a quote from tiffany carpenter that the university is preparing a statement from Pearl stating such. Like I said...stay tuned. Sometime those things don't pan out, but saying that, i think Pearl is staying.

I think if Jesus Christ came and coached the Vols and brought Phil Jackson with him, some of you would be aginst it.

Nolan Richardson over Bruce Pearl? Really? Pitino would never come here!

Losing Pearl would hurt big time. The man won the East after losing five of his ten best players!

Jesus Christ would be a bad hire for us. He's not aggressive enough on defense. We can't go anywhere with his passive style of play.
