Let's talk Yemen

I know we’ve told Iran to back off, but if this is the case and their revolutionary guard is providing direct support, it’s time to punch them in the mouth.
WTF are you talking about? So now you want to attack Iran? And who the hell are we to be handing out orders to Iran when we are arming Ukraine and Israel?

Tell me, genius, in the past 3 months, how many people have the Houthis killed in their Bab el-Mandeb activities vs the Israelis in Gaza? They have openly told everyone how this could end. Ceasefire.

So you would rather set the ME on fire and get America drawn in to a ridiculous war vs pressuring Israel to a ceasefire?

Also, I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but the world doesn't give two fks what the US says or does anymore. All we are good for is firing off a few missiles in a hissy fit show of force that doesn't amount to anything... purely for domestic consumption and to "save face". The US won't be able to do diddlysquat without putting boots on the ground. That terrain in Yemen is just as rugged and mountainous as anything in Afghanistan with a battle hardened militia that is better armed and supported than the Taliban. If the US got our cheeks clapped and ran from Afghanistan, WTF makes you think we can beat the Houthis and the IRGC with air defenses and hypersonic missiles?

Our biggest problem with Iraq and Afghanistan is that we were too nice.

How about we allow Israel to decide how they want to do their business?

Is that level of soverignty going to be extended to the other 194 countries? Seems like only 2 countries are supposed to act unilatterally in this world.

I think we need to stay out of a lot of countries affairs but I'm not an isolationist. I just think if we can't secure our own border and protect our own sovereignty why in the world would we be hypocrites abroad?

Also, look at what has happend. It started out being a Yemen issue with Israeli shipping. But now, thanks to our geniuses in the US and UK, they have turned the Red Sea into a war zone... so now NO ships can carry insurance going in the area. So one country that doesn't want a ceasefire turns into a major passageway being a warzone.

Al-Ajri: America wants to turn the problem of Israeli ships into a global problem

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) -Member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, said that America wants to turn the problem of Israeli ships in the Red Sea into a problem for all ships in the world and put the international community in front of a fait accompli, either the Israeli ships pass or their ships will be in danger.

“America came to bullying and escalating its aggression when it failed to convince the countries of the world to form an international coalition under the pretext of protecting navigation in the Red Sea and found itself facing an international consensus demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza as an entry point to reduce tension,” Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri said in a post on his X account.

Al-Ajri pointed to the statement of the Yemeni naval forces today and their announcement to all international parties and concerned parties to continue their firm position that navigation is safe in the Red and Arab Seas, except for Israeli ships heading to the occupied ports, and their readiness to provide the necessary assistance to any ship.

Are you claiming civilian vessels from multiple countries were attacking the houthis? If not, your analogy doesn’t work.

It seems you’re attempting to proclaim “any action by any group is justified as long as I see them being in opposition to Israel”

Again. It was never JUST israeli shipping that was the target. A chinese ship got taken pretty early. They also seized a fuel tanker and gave it to the Iranians. They have hit multiple Russian ships as well. You keep acting like the Houthis just started back in October. They have been going for a while.

Here is a website where you can see the attacks on shipping since Decemeber. None of them are going to Israel. And even the Houthis only claimed one of the attacks as a ship going to Israel.

I'm beginning to believe that Iran and our political establishment wants us in another ME war. It would be great for two of their allies, Russia and China if we were engaged in another ME war.

I fully believe they’ve been encouraged to act out by China, just as I fully believe Russia was encouraged to attack Ukraine by China.

3 - Russia acts pretty unilaterally as well.
If you are talking in regards to Ukraine, they tried for 8 years to resolve the issue through diplomacy, but NATO/US kept pushing the issue.

Really, before 2014. When NATO started to expand and move east, that became a growing threat to Russia. Putin warned The West in 2007 at Munich and then had to clap Georgia's cheeks a year later. NATO/US still pushed on.

No one on the planet has violated international law more than the United States of America and her NATO flunkies.

USA has only violated international law once in the last 20 years, the invasion of Iraq. Afghanistan was sponsored by the UN.

Russia has done it on multiple occasions (Georgia, Moldovia, Ukraine, and arguably Checnya - that one isn't as clear).

You still haven't figured out the two, USA gets approval from UN before acting. Russia does NOT.

My gawd... is China responsible for your milk turning sour also?

And do you really think Russia or Iran would risk going to war because China whispered in their ears? The Russians and Iranians are nowhere near as stupid or reckless as the US proxies.

I'll do a Joe Biden impersonation: Show me one leader in NATO that would NOT trade places with Xi or Putin.

How is NATO a threat to Russia?

Depending on which flip flop universe you are in for this argument NATO has existed longer than Russia, remember they arent the USSR. During that time Russia has only ever been the aggressor in various wars against the soviet satellites. NATO has done nothing to Russia but ensure its existence from attacks from the west.

You are all for self determination as long as it helps Russia. But as soon as it might possibly be not be for Russia you are 100% against it. See your reaction to Georgia in this post.

While I agree with your comment about China, I find it rich coming from you who blames USA for anything against Russia. You still have 0 proof USA was involved in 2014 Ukrainian Election but you post about it constantly.

Syria? Libya? Yemen?

Are you really being serious right now?

Not sure what you ate even referencing w/ regards to Moldova, bit Georgia and Ukraine were clearly Western sponsored and endorsed actions that were intended to be aggressive towards Russia.

The UN, for the most part, has been a utility of the United States. But recently, you are starting to see a shift among countries moving away from the US.

I have posted all of the proof in the past on multiple occasions. If you choose to ignore the facts, that is your fault.

No you haven't, you just posted propaganda. If USA was controlling Ukraine, Ukraine would have rolled over 2-3 weeks into the war and the Russian Army would be in Kiev instead of having the mass popular support coming out for Ukraine.

Listen, comrade, counties make pledges of protection all the time. Russia and Iran absolutely got guarantees that China would back them up if the West gets involved in direct battles, whether it’s financial, weapons, or anything else needed. All these flair ups aren’t due to Israel’s or the Ukraine’s actions. The struggles for global dominance didn’t end after WW2, and neither China nor Russia are the good guys in this by any means. If you held them to the same standard that you use on the West, you might actually have credibility.
