Little E to Hendrick!

Take it to the bank. Earnhardt Jr. to the 25, Mears to the 5, Kyle Busch to Ginn Racing and the Biff to DEI

Thats what I'm hearing now as well. Also a rumor that Busch is angry and may move into the Ginn #01 immidiately...with Mark Martin running the rest of this season in the #5...and running for the championship.

boo hoo poor kyle, i'm sure hendrick was wanting him to leave anyways, he's costing a lot of money by wrecking his cars every other week

Makes you wonder, ever since Jr. made the announcement that he was a free agent and the rumor about Hendrick and all the other teams swirling around, I don't think Kyle has made it through a single race without putting the car in the wall. Pressure?

yep, it also makes you think back in Texas when Busch wrecked out, left the track, and Jr. jumped in the 5 car and finished the race. At the time, he said it was just a favor for some of his friends on that team, but it does make you think, did he know something in advance? He obviously liked what he was driving at the end of that race, enough to make him want to join the team.

:eek:lol: good point.

as for the hendrick thing......doesn't bother me at all. Hell, if you are in fact a jr fan you should be excited.......he's finally going to have the "best equipment" in the sport so to speak........

and lastly, the team aspect in Nascar is loose at best. it's still an individual sport at heart. i've heard on the radio here that this is like Celmens going to the Yanks and stuff.....it's just not the same.

Exactly. At the end of the day, you're still on the track competing against your "teammates".

it has been fun listening to the idiots in Charlotte call in to the radio shows complaining about this move.

i keep hearing that this JG/Hendrick vs Jr/DEI is like Duke vs. Carolina......and it's just not. i don't know what else to say about it.

I just think it's a great move for Jr. for two reasons. He can win at Hendrick. It will also separate the real Jr. fans from those who only like him because of his last name and try to make him into his father. Those fans were never really fans of Jr., they were fans of his father's legacy. The REAL fans will stick with him no matter where he goes.

oh good.....more "real" fan talk...this should go over great.

thanks Tid. Do you know what you've done?

Now, now jake... I'm not saying you're not a fan if you say the team or Jr. is struggling. I am however saying that if you stop supporting the team or Jr. for struggling or changing teams that you aren't a fan. :)

I was hoping he'd go to Petty Enterprises.

as far as the new world order picture is concerned, Jr. would be behind Gordon, not the other way around. He's an Earnhardt, but Gordon is top dog at Hendrick.

If you CAN'T beat 'em, join 'em. Dale Jr. just became the 4th best driver on Hendrick's team. 5th if Kyle Busch could have stayed.

at first I hated the move but now im liking it more and more....i really dont care who Jrs teammates are, its not like I ever really like Truex anyway, and who is Paul Menard?? Id rather Jr have great drivers as teammates that will share packages and tips with him....as far as fans sticking with him, i serious doubt that will be a problem; however, I wouldnt mind if he did lose some fans...I really dont like the fact that nearly everyone seems list Jr as their favorite driver, it makes us true Jr fans just look like we jumped on the bandwagon...I think Rick Hendrick is a great car owner and will take Jr to the next level.......finally

he definitely has a lot of potential, he just needs some maturing. He has the chance to win a lot of races, granted he signs with a good team who will give him good equipment, which I think he will. I'm not all that high on Casey Mears but, we'll see what he can do. Right now, Jr. is the third-best driver in Hendrick's organization.

Kyle was definitely better than Casey, but I dont think Kyle fit the Hendrick mold......I have a feeling we will see a much more business-like Jr....he even said he wont be wearing many t-shirts and jeans anymore.......anyways, we'll see how much talent Kyle has when hes not running Hendrick cars
