A team with Tim Tebow, Eric Berry, Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson, Brandon Spikes, AJ Green, Haloti Ngata, Gerald McCoy, and CJ Spiller isn't going to take too many beatings. But back to VN's dream world.

Just got off the phone with Mack's dad at 10:35am. He's down at Carson-Newman where THS is scrimmaging Knox West as I'm typing.

Mike called me and said that he wanted me to tell everybody here on VolNation before their 3:00pm announcement that "Mack is excited, honored and humbled at this opportunity with the Volunteers." That... "VolNation had quite a bit to do with him officially committing to the University of Tennessee and that he only looked on the site about three days ago and was overwhelmed at the attention that VolNation was giving him". Mike said he would be... "thrilled if Mack goes down and just lights it up but he said he expects Mack to be there for five years".

I think all of you know how it was looking already with the media stuff but I thought it was pretty good of Mike to call and ask that I post the above statments to the whole of "VolNation".

I am very happy with both of these guys. I think both will make very, very good football players at UT.

I'm excited about these guys. Good base of commitments as we head into the football season. Areas of need are being taken care of. I like it

It's not a done deal yet. They haven't announced. Remember, Downs said he loves Duke and that it would take something very special to get him to switch his commitment. It may be that Crowder joins him at Duke. We'll know soon enough.
