They play slower and their offense is probably slightly below average. Also, their defense sucks bad! They get beat off the dribble drive very easily.

This year Oregon State is 3-28...Unbelievable the drop off from one year to the next...

Funny enough, this is the second time this has happened to Oregon State under Wayne Tinkle. Made the tournament in his second season. The following season in year 3, they went 5-27.

I like that we’ll know who we play in the 2nd round before we play, given that we win the first one.

Interesting tid-bit: The conference Longwood plays in, DJ Burns was named the player of the year.

We do have a few common opponents:

Tennessee 86 vs Presbyterian College 44
Longwood 71 vs Presbyterian College 70

Tennessee 96 vs USC Upstate 52
Longwood 85 vs USC Upstate 72
Longwood 79 vs USC Upstate 70

By simply looking at common opponent you've got to think we are 25-30 points better.

At least they won’t be putting 50% of the first half on their app or secret channel while game #1 runs over.
Women's whip around was the worst. I hope they have figured out something better then that. I'm assuming ESPN app, which I don't have either.

Remember Oregon State.....that was a whooping a mere 12 months ago by a 12 seed.

We gotta ball
The Bilas, Haywood and Greenberg commented on this today when brackets released. All these teams slotted at low seeds of 11s 12s and such that are from Major Conferences arent really upsets but where they are slotted it seems that way. The NCAA has in the last decade or so tried giving the mid major conference teams better slotting instead of like 14 seeds. So when I see like Michigan pop up as 11 that makes me nervous especially with playing in Indianapolis where their fans will travel well.
