Interesting tid-bit: The conference Longwood plays in, DJ Burns was named the player of the year.
We do have a few common opponents:
Tennessee 86 vs Presbyterian College 44
Longwood 71 vs Presbyterian College 70
Tennessee 96 vs USC Upstate 52
Longwood 85 vs USC Upstate 72
Longwood 79 vs USC Upstate 70
By simply looking at common opponent you've got to think we are 25-30 points better.

Same conference that produced Winthrop - who took us to the wire and we escaped with a Lofton shot at the buzzer a few years back. You cannot sleep on any team. A bad whistle coupled with a bad shooting night and you go home a 14 v 3 upset victim - and we were a 2 seed that year…
I used to ball out on the outside courts, that used to be right on Texas Ave. Now, I wasn't from there, but I had a lot friends from there. So, I've been to a couple Lonsdale Homecomings, now that was a party
