I’m going to have to go search for random connections on LinkedIn so I can find someone to talk **** to.

I watched it for a few minutes but it was painful to watch

Just finished watching the same thing. Their strength of schedule was 353rd in the nation. I’m pretty sure we could make up a team from this board and shoot 38% from 3 vs the JUCO schools they played. Tallest guy that sees a significant amount of minutes is 6’7. So their tallest guy is an inch taller than Josiah. Our posts need to EAT UP the glass. They will face a defense that they haven’t even come remotely close to seeing all year.

So Longwood beat out Winthrop in that same conference with former Vol DJ Burns and former ETSU grad Patrick Good. Wonder what happened to Winthrop, they are usually at the top of that conference.

Tallest guy on their roster is 6'7" they have 3 guards that lead the team in scoring, a senior, junior, and sophomore. 9 players see 12 mpg or more for them, they've only had 1 loss this year (2022) the other 5 of their 6 were early in the season with most coming in OOC. Only 1 of their 6 losses was a home loss.

They won their regular season championship, then won their tournament championship and got the only bid for the Big South (terrible conference, only two teams won 20 games the other being Winthrop).

Not sure how quick their guards are, but this will be an interesting matchup since it may be the only team we face that has a trio of guards with more production than ours. Could be a game where one of our bigs is unstoppable. Uros, BHH, Fulky or Aidoo if any of them get going on offense not sure Longwood will have enough interior size to stop it.

They beat Winthrop to win their conference championship. I watched the game is on YouTube and saw a former Vol I forgot about playing for Winthrop (DJ Burns).

The SECT run

Vols vs Opponent
MSU: 50.0%, 42.1%, 60.0% vs 39.6%, 35.3%, 78.9%
UK: 44.2%, 40.0%, 68.0% vs 34.4%, 10.0%, 72.7%
A&M: 39.3%, 42.9%, 64.3% vs 31.4%, 21.1%, 77.8%

Not a single opponent shot better than us from the field or from 3. MSU shot 19 FTs vs 10, Kentucky shot 22 FTs vs 25 (most coming for us at end of game when they were trying to extend it), A&M shot 18 FTs vs 14.

So we didn't get any favorable officiating in any matchup either.

I will go on record and say KC and ZZ will feast on Longwood. What little I watched I did not see one guard that will be quick enough to stay with them. Tn by 35
