My biggest concern with Georgia is playing at Athens. The ‘22 game was loud and it was visible how much the noise disrupted our offense at the beginning of the game.

Washington @ Indiana
Notre Dame vs Navy
Missouri @ Alabama
Illinois @ Oregon
BYU @ UCF
Texas @ Vanderbilt
LSU @ Texas AM
Penn State @ Wisconsin
SMU @ Duke
Kansas
@ Kansas State

From what I've gathered, this is who we should be rooting for today. Yall correct me if I'm wrong, but I do think we're going to need as many (10-2 possible) teams to go down.

Yes, we beat the Dawgs and none of this matters. Also, any other loss and this is null and void anyways.

My reasoning for AM is that they play @ South Carolina at night next weekend and vs Texas to close the season. LSU catches Alabama at home, @ Florida, and Vandy at home.

What say you?
You are correct on who to root for.
Went 0-2 in the noon games. Navy and UW looked really bad.

Yep.
Nico has said he loves road games.
Not so much at Arkansas and Fayetteville doesn’t compare to Athens in any way (noise, coaching, defensive talent especially on dline).
I just want us to keep it somewhat close and stay healthy to whip Vandy and go 10-2. Then hope for a playoff bid or a nice bowl/ 🍲.

Georgia is vulnerable. I’m just not sure we can win in Athens. Offense has to compete the entire game and I think it’s a helluva ballgame. Georgia won’t pass the torch without a fist fight between the hedges.
Exactly.. Texas had not played anyone. Vandy is getting to Ewers as well. Georgia played well to get back in the game at Alabama...

But at the same time, great teams don't go down 28-0 to teams too. These games are week to week.

I do not expect a win at Georgia, but they're not unbeatable.

Watching the A&M game now. LSU probably isn’t losing two conference games. Problem is even if we beat UGA and only lose one both these teams beat Ark and would have the tiebreaker over us. We could win out and probably won’t be in the SEC title game.

I won’t be surprised if the SEC title game is a rematch of this one.

Feel you, I do think that SC gets A&M next weekend.

Always thought 10-2 would be a sure playoff spot. I don’t think it will be at this point. Think we have to win out.

Watching the A&M / LSU game, I would have benched the LSU QB about 2 interceptions ago.

It’s crazy that the first place team in the SEC may not be one of the best 5 teams. Tenn, Texas, UGA, Bama, OM are all better IMO.

Still think SC beats A&M next week in Columbia.

I honestly wouldn’t be that heartbroken as long as we make the CFP. I would think that at 11-1 we would be hosting a game.

If Tennessee wins out, we will be the #1 or #2 team in the country depending on how Oregon finishes. I don’t see A&M climbing 14 spots without winning a tough road game. Definitely don’t see LSU recovering from this loss to somehow climb back to #1.

Georgia beating Texas on the road followed by us beating Georgia on the road would be a very good look for us.

It’s weird bc if Arkansas, Florida or Bama execute they could’ve blown us out in those games. Hard to execute vs a defense like ours but I’m just saying we could’ve lost by two TDS in those games. By the same token if Nico is playing up to potential and hitting open WRs those games aren’t close and we win easily. You’re basically rolling the dice on a young QB hard to know what you’re getting from week to week.
If Tennessee didn't give Arkansas that last TD we would have won.

Yes. We would be in the playoff but not in the title game. So brushing that issue aside losing one more game I think knocks us out of the playoff entirely. Never envisioned at the beginning of the season this many SEC teams could have no more than one or two losses.

You guys are overly worried with a month left to play. The 10-2 Vols would be ranked over Bama, Ole Miss, Mizzou, and LSU with the same record…we have almost nothing to worry about. It will take care of itself. Could use teams like Pitt and Indiana to take some losses..that’s about it.

I think many were reading that LSU game wrong the entire way. Looks that way now for sure. LSU already had the worse loss of the two so with a loss to Bama, LSU would have never been ranked over us with the same record. Now A&M could finish 10-2 and only have losses to ND and Texas..that’s really splitting hairs with us at 10-2 with an Arkansas loss as one of them.
