That’s not necessarily true. Losing later in the season has always proven to be a more impactful than earlier. Alabama will certainly be in front of us if we lose in November. They will be back within a few spots today. LSU may as well if they win out from here.

Bama will never be ranked above us with a head to head loss and the same record…LSU and Bama play…so one of them is automatically eliminated and the other will be below us. Again this is a discussion if we finish 10-2. 11-1 or 9-3 and all talking points are moot.

Maybe but I don’t see it. Worst case playoff picture that’s reasonable in my mind is UGA (11-1), A&M (11-1), Tennessee (10-2), LSU (10-2)

Texas out at 10-2, Bama out at 9-3, Missouri out at 10-2.

I don’t see how Texas and A&M can both make it in. Think that’s the only way we get left out

I would be able to stomach being out of the playoff a little more if Bama didn’t make it in.

You said it would never happen. And I just showed you it was just two years ago. Same record. Same conference record. We beat them. And They were ranked ahead of us. It absolutely can happen. Hell CBS said they will in fact get in over us with the same record. If you haven’t noticed how national people will screw us at any chance you haven’t been paying attention.

Copy. Marking it and will come back. If we lose to UGA we will drop at least five or six spots. Bama may be in front of us that Sunday. They win out they will be #5 or 6. We’ll be sitting around 10 at best with any loss including UGA. Got it saved. Cheers.

I’m reading through the AP poll thread on Reddit and these Iowa State fans are absolutely hilarious punching air for not being ranked in the top 10. When are they going to realize they’re gonna get them cheeks clapped come play off time.
