@mtsuraider06 so if Walz hasn’t been considered, and Wes Moore is staying at NC State then who else besides Kelly is even being considered since you seem to know who’s not in the running?

Not totally accurate, Alabama actually hired Rich Rod and the boosters told Mal Moore no. The dolphins refused Drew Brees and several other dominos fell leading to bama lucking into Saban.

Bama zeroed in on Rich Rod first and actually hired him. The bama boosters got word late that Saban wanted out of Miami and the boosters told the AD if you want to keep your job call off the deal with Rich Rod. Dominos fell and Saban was on a plane to bama.

Or maybe they'll see someone who coached up a team of overachievers and took them to a Sweet Sixteen while the mighty Lady Vols were sitting home watching the game on tv.

Maybe they could imagine themselves taking a Top Ten team to the limit instead of getting blown out. Maybe they could see the joy on the faces of the players and remembered how much fun playing used to be. Maybe they crave the comraderie of teammates and the respect of their opponents.

Yes once they found out he was looking to leave the dolphins they wined and dined him....it doesn’t change the fact that they offered rich rod first or that they went through Shula, dubose, and franchione before getting saban.
