Fox News has canceled “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” with Friday night being host Lou Dobbs’ final broadcast, according to the Los Angeles Times.

His show, “Lou Dobbs Tonight” aired daily at 5 p.m. ET, and re-aired at 7 p.m. on Fox Business, which became the top-rated “news program on business television,” featuring a “breakdown of the day’s top stories and how they impact the economy,” according to the Fox Business website.

Dobbs, 75, joined Fox Business Network in November of 2010. According to the Los Angeles Times, “Lou Dobbs Tonight” will “be called ‘Fox Business Tonight,’ with rotating substitute hosts Jackie DeAngelis and David Asman,” starting next week.

I take it he didn't resign? Then he moved closer to Trump on that horrendously despicable human continuum.

How do you guys find old posts so quickly? There have been a few times when I tried to find an old post, but I couldn't find an easy way.
You don't follow national politics but feel free to comment on them? You have to be living under a bridge, not care, or be stupid to not know he didn't step down. Which are you Luther? This is the worst excuse I have seen on here in quite sometime .

I think it's more that I do not follow any right wing media outlets. I'm guessing they tried to make it a huge story. Maybe if you guys would step away from talk radio, Fox news, etc......you would have a less distorted view of national politics.

Fox Business suddenly cancels 'Lou Dobbs Tonight,' its highest-rated show - CNN
Dobbs, a veteran financial news anchor, became known at Fox Business for his sycophantic pro-Trump programs. He was one of the former president's biggest boosters on television, and Trump regularly thanked him in return.
The pro-Trump propaganda bent helped make the daily airing of "Lou Dobbs Tonight" at 5 p.m. ET (it also re-aired at 7 p.m.) the network's most-watched program -- so a sudden cancellation would ordinarily make no sense at all.
But Fox is under enormous legal pressure from a pair of voting technology companies, Smartmatic and Dominion, because Dobbs and other hosts made false claims about the companies while perpetuating Trump's lies about election fraud.

The Trump fallout claims another victim.
Word is that Rupert Murdoch is super pi$$ed about the pending law suit.... because Smartmatic and Dominion appear to have a decent case. Look for Jeanine Pirro to be fired soon as well.

If they did that, where would they be able to formulate their opinions on topics?

It has nothing to do with right or left wing. You just aren't informed on the issue. Even though you were fully aware of the problem. It's pretty crappy.

President Donald Trump reacted to the news Friday that Fox Business had decided to end Lou Dobbs’ evening program.

“Lou Dobbs is and was great,” Trump wrote in a statement. “Nobody loves America more than Lou. He had a large and loyal following that will be watching closely for his next move, and that following includes me.”

Has moving to Fox News ever helped a journalist's reputation? Lou Dobbs, Trish Regan and Maria Bartiromo weren't known for political partisanship while they were at CNN and CNBC, respectively.

It was a minor story in a state in which I have no connection, it was only a major national story to right wingers.

Lol. This admission of yours, I would hope, shows you how uninformed you are. Lol this is so dumb. Minor story? A governor in black face? Would you tell a black person that it's a minor story? Please show us how you would tell a African American that this is minor. Hahahahaha.

My Pillow guy is willing to throw his entire business out the window for this fraud conspiracy. It’s sad how loyal these folks have been to a man the returns absolutely zero loyalty back.
Trump has gotten such loyalty because he is so deep in morons' heads. He's out of office and you are still talking about him. lulz

A 35 year old photo of a governor in black face? That's a minor story. It only warrants a closer examination of the 35 years that followed. What that examination uncovers would be the story.

Increased their reputations according to the fascist left?
Within the last 11 months both Lou Dobbs and Trish Regan have been fired by Fox News. Regan hasn't resurfaced anywhere. It looks like their careers were doing better before they became Trump apologists.
