There have been plenty of coaches that have been payed well and it's not worked out, yet there are coaches who started out low and worked their way up with the success they endured. Just throwing money at something doesn't mean you can fix it.
Of course it can be. Every coach does it his own way.
Prefer both the bold options.Did any of you prefer Cutcliffe or Sumlin over Dooley? That seemed to be the only choice unless Kippy stayed as interim coach which might have been the best route.
Look, I'm not sure Dooley will work out or not but I'm willing to wait and see before judging him. I think that is different than waiting on Fulmer to "turn it around" because we knew what we had in Fulmer. I still don't believe we know what we're getting with Dooley based on his La Tech record.
Because he was going to win, and win big, like he'll do at USC.So, why is it that people were so enamored with a coach that was dead set on not keeping UT the same, yet he goes 7-6, leaves like a hooker, and people still defend him??
Because he didn't care, obviously. If it can be done, why didn't he try??
Kiffin was the Co-OC, called plays, and recruiting coordinator... I give him some credit.I can answer that for you, it's because he's done NOTHING of any signifigance as a coach, outside of his assistant coaching success at USC. Even then, there are some people within the USC program that said Sark was the reason they were so good.
