ARe you going to answer to the question, or sit there like the moron you are try to come up with witty comebacks and cutdowns?

My guess is the latter, since most corndogs don't have much sense.

You're still out of the dorm! Listen, here's a question:

1. If a 300 mi WIDE hurricane came into the Texas-La. State-line area, which side of the hurricane has the most destructive winds?

Which side of this storm is closest to Baton Rouge? (That's in your state)

You need to LISTEN and LEARN.

If the LSU Library is closed--you can do a Google Search.

Besides, if you ban me then the terrorists win

Bull? Show me one post where you have actually said something worthwhile, other than we'll beat you 72-3, or that we're a bunch of crybabies because we're not dumb like you and want to play in the middle of a damn hurricane?

It ain't bull, it's the truth.

You call yourself a terrorist? Hehe, you don't have the guts to even be slimeball like a terrorist.

Go home, corndog.

A couple of observations, here:

1. There is still a very real possibility that the game will not be able to be played Monday night. The damage predicted for this storm could create a whole new "disaster zone" along the coast, with hundreds of thousands of evacuees moving inland and upward.

2. As for the "pre-Rita" assessment of the hotel situation provided by U-T, it was inaccurate. With friends in Lafayette, an hour from Baton Rouge, we were absolutely unable to find ANY hotel rooms within a reasonable drive.

3. LSUFreak is a disgrace to his or her school and is turning one heckuva website into a trash-fest. These threads are becoming ignorant and bordering on intolerable to read.

4. Whenever, wherever, and if ever this game is played, I really hope that we pound LSU, who continues to be nothing short of a royal pain in the ass. The stubborn insistence on playing this week in Baton Rouge is getting a little ridiculous.

5. Despite the strong feelings on both sides, may we all keep those afflicted by Katrina and Rita in our prayers. Surely our quibbles are nothing more than a grain of salt when compared to the countless victims who have lost their homes, livelihood, and loved ones.

There was no reason to move the game other then UT fans wanting the game at home and using Katrina as a reason.

I don't know about that, man. I don't think most UT fans are that selfish. Sure, we'd like to have it here, but it's not our turn.

I, like most of us, just want to get the game on and also make sure that the players make it in and out safely, and pray for those in the path of Rita.

Orange, I meant that by people who wanted it moved before Rita was heading this way.

All my posts are about people who are mad the game wasn't moved in the first place after Katrina

I was sitting back reading some of these posts, all of them valid, just some expressing passion over thought process.

The LSU AD has made fools of themselves with their insistence on playing this game on Saturday Night to salvage their tradition.

This had nothing to do with the "Saturday Night in Death Valley" tradition. If it did, LSU would never move a game for TV. This had everything to do with money. TV money for both the university and the confrence as a whole, of which UT benifits from.

From now on, we should force the Aholes to wear their lavender jerseys when we play them there.

I have lost all respect for them, and some of their fans who have come here for no reason but to flame.

I've been there before for games. I'm not going to this one, but if I were, I'd stuff water and snacks in my pockets and I wouldn't buy a nickel of anything while in their state.

I'll take the high road and not be insulting. I am not here to flame; only to be a good ambassador for LSU. I mean, afterall it was us bunch of Aholes that postponed our home opener. It was this same group of Aholes that elected to play its next "home opener" in AZ so that the campus could be used to provide much needed medical services to those in need. And what do those Aholes get? ten straight games in a row. AZ st. week off then 10 in a row. It was these same Aholes that were taking in homless people into their homes. Even Ahole players were putting up people in their apartments. That LSU AD is really looking like fools for trying to get a football game played in its home stadium spurring some badly needed economic growth, three weeks late, and that game being a bit of stress relief for those attending the game.

Of course none of this was going on in the decision making process. Quite the contrary. The only thing on anyone's mind was how to "screw" Vol fans. As a matter of fact, we have ben experimenting for years with the Defence Department on Weather warfare. Katrina was our preliminary experiment so that we could unleash this weapon in time to "screw" ten thousand TN fans. It is our little bit of revenge for TN and UF groups buying up huge blocks of SEC Championship Game tickets way early even before they know they are going. then pawning them off when they don't go.

Our next coup de tat will be ow to "screw" you up in Knoxville. Afterall, we are "Aholes" like that.

In all seriousness. Prayers to those taht will be affected by Rita, and may those of you that come down, be safe. Good luck and God speed.

Welcome, lsupro.

Finally, a sensible LSU fan.

We haven't had many of those this week.

Thanks.

There is a silent huge majority. Just like all schools, we unfortunately have some rabid fans that have no class. I am not one of those and neither are most.

I just call it like I see it and be as honest as possible.

Thanks again, Orange!

Geaux SEC!

sorry about that other guy, LSUfreak, he just wanted to stir up some trouble.

Anyway, you guys aren't the only ones who are unhappy about this game. Quite a few LSU fans are not happy. School is scheduled for monday as well as the game, and it is going ot be a nightmare to get there, because of traffic and lack of parking spaces for a lot of students. Its going to be hectic.

As for the game and Tenn. fans, I wish something could be done about you inconvenience. Its not fair in the slightest and I wish LSU would at least refund your tickets. But at the least I pray for a good game and for the safety of everyone involved in the game, the hurricane, and these trying times.

Too soon to tell of course and hopefully I'm wrong but:

The potential damage to property and danger to life that Rita may cause in Louisana and elsewhere makes me seriously question the decision to have this game Monday night.

Yes the storm will have past by then but what will be the aftermath? Is it wise to divert resources from real needs to host a football game?

My absolute preference would be to play this game as originally scheduled - Saturday night in BR. However that is not possible. Given that, what is the possible value of having it Monday night?

I hope and pray I'm wrong but Lousiana and Texas could be in serious trouble on Monday. Is there anyway the game could have been feasible in say Mobile 2 days after Katrina? No way.

The SEC screwed the pooch on this one in my opinion.

I know it's a bad situation for everybody from the attending spectator standpoint. but I'm looking on the bright side for me. I get to watch some real football on TV Monday night instead of a bunch of overpaid
NFL jerks showing their a--es like raving idiots after scoring a TD or making a tackle.

On a positive note, the beer at my house is cheap, the food's better, the bathroom's eight steps away, my tv room's climate controlled, I have instant replay, and most import of all, I don't have to go to Louisiana to watch it. Even before the hurricane, I wouldn't go to La to see a piss-ant eat a bail of hay, and especially to a town where the leading citzen is the "Reverend" Jimmy Swaggart.

Do I like LSU? Not at all.

Everybody needs to relax. These storms have a lot of folks on edge.

Louisiana needs a diversion and this game is a welcome relief.

I hope that the Vol fans can understand the LSU fans' reluctance to mess with the game schedule.....I've had folks in my home for weeks, sleeping on the floor, couch, and wherever I can find a place. Trying to work for a living, clean the house, feed and route relatives around and help them has been a major drain. But we do what we have to do.....

My family is pretty lucky though, we are fairly "comfortable" and our biggest "stress" has been getting on each other's nerves and fighting to liquidate emergency mutual funds :ermm: I really feel for the folks that don't have the financial means to help their family members and/or take care of the bills.

The decision has been made. I am confident that the AD's from both schools and the SEC made the best decision they could based on all of the available information.

I look forward to seeing a well played, injury free game for all participants.

LSU 24
UT 17

Geaux Tigers!!!!!!! and pray for SE Texas and SW Louisiana

Welcome to the board lsupro.

It's refreshing to see a fan of LSU who has a good handle on this.

I don’t think the angst being thrown towards LSU has as much to do with LSU as it does the low caliber of fans that have represented you on this board. There's always a low element, especially among the anonymity of message boards.

I realize that LSU has probably suffered more from the weather this season than anyone else. It did seem that some reasonable requests were dismissed, for whatever reasons, and we'll all have to live with them.

As someone has said, the game may not even be played Monday. After this storm hits we may not be in the mood for something as unimportant as football.

That's the problem with the anonminity of the keyboard.

EVERY team has fans that act like horses butts behind a keyboard.

I'm guilty...
