Hard to like anything ab our chances when it comes to OL recruiting right now in the portal. It’s best to just expect nothing.

Hubbs did say, of course, paraphrasing.

At end of last week you'd hoped you'd have one, maybe two OL on team. Now, you (may) end up with none.

I tried to gloss over that. But when Hubbs jumps in like that. It does NOT instill a lot of confidence.

Their mod Zach seems to think Heard has a great connection with Golding and their backup QB so he believes they are still in the thick of it.

The other mod Chuck is hearing they aren't in it anymore and his last post is him hoping Zach is right.

Zach is the one who said the info about Heard being super close to Pete Golding

I believe right now that Ole Miss' remaining No. 1 offensive line target is Gerald Mincey from Tennessee. He will arrive on Oxford in Friday for his official visit. I have placed a Crystal Ball for MIncey to Ole Miss.

I feel good about it, but it’s not done. His mom did a call yesterday with coaches yesterday, and I think the perception is that she was the last hurdle, and it went very well. I know several schools are trying to get a visit. If he doesn’t schedule one today, I think we’re in a great spot for good news.
