I agree with the sudden part, but being crazy impulsive is consistent with his character, IMO.

Um....the entire 4th season was out of character for Don. That was the whole point.

Tonights episode was the weirdest almost Hickcockian episode of the series, and it was fantastic.

Roger opening the liquor bottle had me rolling.

My wife and I recently started watching on Netflix. We are halfway through season two, and I'm still not sure what I think of it. I like all the advertising stuff, but the rest is a total soap opera. I watched a season of the show Desperate Housewives with my wife when we first got married. Mad Men sometimes reminds me of that show.

yeah, I like work aspect of the show a lot better than the personal episodes.

Also, I did not care for this last episode.

I think it was mostly because he didnt like Don because he had money and he felt like she gave up on her dreams to ride on his coattails. Plus he was just an angry bitter old man.

There's of these floating around where they show all of the cigs that are smoked. Also saw one where they edited parts of the show to make it look like a thriller.

btw, this thread is always impossible to find once several days have gone by because you can't search for words 3 letters or fewer. But you can sort in any forum by thread name. Took me a while to figure that out.

I am only seeing through season 4 on streaming. I think AMC is re-running them right now. A search on my uverse app shows they are somewhere in season 3 right now.
