If it comes out that bet was placed on LSU, all hell is about to break loose

If he bet on himself, who cares. Pete rose 2.0 so maybe he’ll get a lifetime show cause, but if you want to bet on yourself I don’t see the problem

Unless it’s stupid prop bets like -3 bunt singles so you lay down bunts all game long sacrificing your chances of winning to hit the prop, but I doubt those bets exist for college baseball

Yeah. So, if Pete bet when he thought Reds would win....what does that tell you when he didn't bet.

It is like being a chain smoker. You don't wake up one day and forget to smoke.

My dad says people he knows in baseball have called it ‘unusual betting activity for alabama to lose.’ He’s not as well connected as my uncle was, but he knows some people who have their ear to the ground.

but we’ll see.

My understanding is that it was two large bets. Both on LSU to win. No run margin or such.

Unsure of source, but think first bet had LSU as a heavy favorite...like -245 or such.

The second bet was something similar. Both paid off due to LSU winning 8-6.

It was really 8-1ish I think when Paulie the Pill Popper was removed from mound. . Some guy named Rocco called the bullpen late game with instructions to cover the crime scene. So, Bama scored like four runs in 9th.

LSU state government will end up ringing up everyone from Bama for Tax Evasion.

Basically what my dad said. This is big. Would be a death penalty worthy violation 30 years ago. Today I doubt anything happens outside of coach being lifetime blacklisted from baseball and maybe some minor sanctions

Here in 90 minutes, we got the Vandyboys playing Bammer in a Thursday night special. My Bellagio guy says that every time we hear a whistle, Bama is going to throw a curve ball.

With that knowledge, ask your dad how we can make a few bones...?

Nope. Awful either way bc you might burn your pitching staff to win the game at the expense of the remaining games.

I guess there were signs last year that the Bama head coach had no problems, ethically, with doing something like this from our game with them so maybe this shouldn't be a huge surprise...if the accusations are indeed true.

They got him on video tape… He’ll get his day in court. Probably numerous dates, both civil and criminal.
