If it comes out that bet was placed on LSU, all hell is about to break loose
If he bet on himself, who cares. Pete rose 2.0 so maybe he’ll get a lifetime show cause, but if you want to bet on yourself I don’t see the problem
Unless it’s stupid prop bets like -3 bunt singles so you lay down bunts all game long sacrificing your chances of winning to hit the prop, but I doubt those bets exist for college baseball
I don't believe a college kid is going to place a large enough wager to trigger suspicion. Just very unlikely.
Both bets were for LSU to win/cover. That’s public knowledge now.If it comes out that bet was placed on LSU, all hell is about to break loose

No doubt CFA isn't leaving and will never intentionally be a head coach again. CTV was 38 when hired by UT, I think he may have been the youngest SEC head coach, ever. Elander is only 32, I’m not sure if any SEC program would hand him the keys just yet. Don’t get me wrong, he could handle the job, just not sure if any would give him the shotAnderson is retiring at UT Plus he said he would not go back to HC position
I think Elander will be in running for several SEC jobs.
Here’s an article about when Tulane’s basketball program was shut down for point shaving and people were arrested for cocaine as well. Readers will recognize a few names in the article.
It was still fresh for many people when I went to school there in the 90s.
A sad anniversary: 25 years since Tulane basketball’s point shaving scandal
‘The Tulane scandal was the first major gambling scandal to shut down a Division I program,” Central Michigan University professor Timothy Otteman told Athlon Sports in 2007, “and that in itself is historically significant.”
He’s got more head coaching experience than your typical 32 year old. Lmao.No doubt CFA isn't leaving and will never intentionally be a head coach again.
