I find it amazing that we don't have a large presence in the middle of the Indian Ocean that was already in place to monitor wayward airliners.

Not that we probably have listening posts and intelligence units closely monitoring the situation in the Ukraine. That would be absurd.

So now, with the Ukrainians saying the rebels couldn't have gotten a BUK missile from their armory, the burden of proof would now be placed back on those accusing the rebels for shooting it down. I'm sure it would be relatively easy to use satellite info to show Russians arming the rebels with these weapons, if it happened.

Given the amount of detailed coverage interpretermag.com has put into this, I'm inclined to accept its assertion that the captured BUK system story originated in Russia media.

They have a fixed reporter with a piece of the plane in the background who makes some rather obvious statements and then throws it back to the studio for talking heads to discuss what is happening.

One wonders why they even bother going there. They don't show anything, don't interview anyone nearby. Just brag about being on the scene and then hand it back to Atlanta or New York.

Sad thing is that's not even the worst of it.

I'd like to know why some of the bodies are completely naked. How does that even happen, did the wind do that?

My guess would be a result of the cabin being depressurized.
