Our decision to sit almost every starter made it about as relevant as an NFL preseason game in terms of reading the tea leaves for next year

It wasn't going to be in sync without Squirrel, Keyton,McCoy and Thornton all sitting out. Not to mention you get no rhythm by playing every 3rd or every other series. Our offense will be fine when the lights come on and everyone is playing .

You can never draw conclusions from the spring game. The coaches are very purposeful with their play calls and are actively challenging the players. I remember when Tyler bray went like 5/30 in the spring game and everyone freaked out.

One can draw conclusions from any and all practices. Sure, things will change in off season workouts and Fall practices and even after the first 2-3 games. It always does. We didn’t see very much on offense or defense. It was a practice for the public to come and see some new players and have fun. The real stuff starts in August. Can not wait.

The biggest and most important takeaway from the "game" is that we finally have some talent at the backup positions. That's huge. 3 good QBs, a RB star in the making, some young receivers making catches with all the starters out...

It's a spring game. Bray went 5-30 in 2012 and threw for 3600 yds that season. I'm not putting much stock into Florida's either.

I felt the same way. If 60000 people make the effort to support you and show up at least give them something to see. I watched Clemsons spring game and they looked more like us than we did.
