GOOD GAME SAT. LAW

Thanks. I'm going to the LSU game this weekend. Haven't been up there for a game in about five years. Looking forward to it. Wish it were ten degrees cooler.

Good to see someone who understands what the Mannings are all about.

The Benjamins? Really? You think its greed and that's it? Let me ask you -- and I have no clue as to the answer so its not rhetorical -- has Peyton shown any interest in UT since he left? Shown up for games or celebrations or done anything to give back? Seriously, I don't know if he has or hasn't and I'm wondering because I figure that as a decent indicator of his commitment to UT.

Look on the bright side, maybe he taught him how to choke in his biggest game.

There's actually something wrong with this?? Is there confirmation they even charge money for profit or to atleast break even on expenses. They've all graduated. If they want to run a non-discrimnitory camp, so be it. It may be free. How would you then feel what they are about. They are good people. With the hourly rates lawyers charge us commoners, should you be judging what others are about.
Unlike the Mannings, I'm quite open about the fact that I am fond of currency. I don't try to pawn myself off as some kind of pseudo-philanthropist.

I hope better information falls to correct this, but I was under the impression Peyton gives rather generously to UT Athletics. Someone is donating quite well to the new locker room or something. I thought it was him??

PM has given back to UT big time. Hate just doesn't like the guy nor his family. The Manning family gives to the community without a court order so he thinks less of them.

No. I dislike them because they're overhyped, sanctimonious rubes who have never won anything. Get your facts straight.

Let them get in trouble and you would be all over them. I'm surprised you've not came to the Defense of Haynesworth.

As far as overhyped goes. Businesses use people to push thier product/service because they have cred and can make money for the company. They use the Mannings because it works. And it works because most peole really like the Mannings.

Lets have Emmitt Smith Help our running backs!!!!!

What could emmitt teach except how to run through a truck sized hole make only one move for a 15 yd gain and how to take all the glory without acknowledging your offensive line. In my book he is still not in my top 5 running backs all-time
1.Jim Brown
2.Sweetness
3.Barry Sanders
4.Gayle Sayers
5.Bo Jackson

There is no circumstance under which I would have anything but antipathy for The Family That Loses Together. Also, why would I defend Fat Albert? What redeeming characteristics does he have? He's just indicative of the slovenly, undisciplined losers TCHFCATUTK has been so adept at producing over the last 5 years.

You have to win something to be someone?? Glad I'm not persuing the HATbook of Life. Giving has always been a strong point in most people.

Which proves you can fool most of the people most of the time. Also, it proves that fat, suburbanite rubes like to see spokespeople that look and talk like them.

I was simply stating why I don't like them. Generally, to receive the amount of hype the Mannings have, you actually have to accomplish something of substance. Their charity work is fine. Part of a carefully crafted strategy to make them more marketable, but fine.

I stand corrected. Albert did not get in trouble off the field and no one died or drugs were not involved. I guess what he did was not "bad" enough.

Again, forced to correct your wrongheaded assertions. Albert has accomplished nothing. Hence, he's not "good" enough to warrant any defense.

That's weak. You can do better. Just admit it. People like them and they are taking advantage of it while it lasts. Maybe one day people will accept drug pushers and stabber/slashers.

I believe their charity work preceeded said publicity. One may have bread the other...right wrong, or indifferent. I'm sure we don't know everything they do in charity other than what is publice info anyway. Now, Oprah on the other hand is an example of my don't like the giving method. I do not like people that blatantly and openly say what they give and do to get acknowledgement for their giving. Pharisees go home.

Accomplishing something of substance has nothing to do with trophies or championships.

vol fans, Mannings, and me on the other since I started counting.
P.S. I still HATE Georgia and their fans!!!!!

Who stabbed someone? The only cutting I remember is Ray Lewis cutting the heart out of a bunch of Trashville trailer dwellers by stripping Eddie George and waltzing into the end zone. I guess he did murder the Titans. It's not weak. Manning's NFL resume is less impressive than Steve McNair's. Where are Steve's commercials?

Funny, I seem to remember an incident in which Ray Lewis and friends stabbed and killed Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar, then throwing his friends under the bus so he could plea out and continue to play football. Very upstanding of Ray Lewis...Miami product, correct?

Manning also takes calls, answers questions and offers advice if asked for it by young QB's starting out in the NFL. It's called giving back to the game that has been so good to him, and it's admirable.
