As you know hat, nobody lists just ONE accomplishment on a resume. It's the ONE area where Steve McNair has a better stat than Peyton Manning. Just one. So, in the end, Steve McNair's resume is no better than Peyton Manning's. And you know that.

McNair has won an MVP. His team has had more playoff success than Manning's. This debate proves my point about Manning and his supporters. It's all about hollow, meaningless numbers. He's nothing more than a modern day Dan Fouts or Dan Marino. Manning is a numbers whore. McNair is a winner. Pure and simple.

I still hate georgia's fan behavior, love the Manning family, and think you and fowler are miserable.
Now I'm 'gunna go read the HATE GEORGIA thread some more.

P.S. Many on this site know me and know that I am elite on three airlines,traverse the country weekly inserviceing Docs and dept head nurses, am a national director of clinical sales, create innovative wound care interfaces, am ANYTHING but a provincial rube, and think you are a prick.
Now, back to hating Georgia fans this week.

How many playoff wins does each team have with those QBs starting the games? I bet its close.

Manning has more MVPs than McNair.

McNair never singlehandedly won a game for the Titans. Neither was Manning.

I really dislike when people say "So and so is just a winner." It's silly. What do you think got McNair his CO-MVP (yes, CO) award? Numbers.

You're very much entitled to evaluate QBs by Super Bowls, but its not, IMO, the most logical way. Peyton Manning is the best passer in the NFL currently, hands down. Palmer, with more experience, will be equal.

Anyway, it's a pretty fair assessment that your opinion is too hard on Manning and many Peyton worshippers' opinions are too kind on him. In the middle, probably lies the truth on Peyton Manning.

It takes 48 players, an entire staff and front office, and some luck to win a title in the NFL.

Off the subject, does anyone else think it's inexplicable that Leak is still on the short list of Heisman possibles? Now, I can't claim to know enough of his stats, but I guess just from watching him a few times this year, I can say without bias that he looks nowhere near Heisman material. Troy Smith makes him look junior varsity IMO.

Football is the best team sport there is. To hammer on Manning because he has not won a Super Bowl is not a very valid point. There are plenty of players that never won Super Bowls that were great and plenty of players that did win Super Bowls that were mediocre.
