Manti Te'o's Dead girlfriend never existed?

Gene Wojciechowski, who did the interview with Manti back in Oct says as he thinks back, things just didn't add up. He also says if Notre Dame was aware of this December 26 why would they not jump out in front of this. You can tell he thinks Manti may have been involved in this.

I think it means that he allowed this hoax to continue. There were hospital visits, phone calls, etc. that never actually happened.

Yet I would not believe he would do this out of personal gain but rather the prevention of potential embarrassment if the media found out, which in due time did anyways.

Uh...they had a national championship game?

Would explain why Manti played so terribly (well, other than the fact that Bama just owned his ass).

That's not a good reason

"Our football team has a big game to play, so were gonna keep under wraps our knowledge of what could possibly be the biggest hoax in sports in quite some time."

Liars lose track of their lies and sometimes they spin out of control. Hoax nothing. Who the hell was he talking to on the phone? Dude got in deep and is blaming someone else, which is another thing liars do.

This is a truly amazing story. Notre Dame and Manti Te'o are now trying to make it out that Te'o was the victim of a hoax. If you read the deadspin story, it is extremely clear that Manti Te'o and his whole family were in on the creation of this hoax.

I hope Te'o enjoys explaining this in his NFL interviews at the combine. So much for his high character.

Sounds like a good reason to me.

If I'm Notre Dame, why the hell would I want that to get out?

Obviously Manti and his friends/probably family too were in on this...real question is if Notre Dame was. I want to believe.

Te'o claimed he sent white roses to her funeral.

For this to be true, the florist and/or funeral home would have had to been in on the hoax.
