can someone show me proof of a rumor? I mean I could start a thread saying O is leaving for the USC job next week and pete carrol is starting over at brentwood middle school in brentwood, tn. I hate bogus stuff like this. No link no post in my opinion

I know that,He and Asmus run same style S&C program, I was stating the players either want to participate or not! Because no one really specified what the rumor was, it was only safe to assume tha another player was wimping out as we have seen before..........

I mean even if its on another board show me the other boards link. I just hate it when people do this. When posi 5150 lawgator and all those say stupid stuff I laugh at their imagination and yern for human contact. But when its a regular joe its annoying.

Volquest is confirming that Mark Smith is leaving as S&C coach after meetings with CLK this afternoon.

Just in from Volquest. Something has to be wrong here since he just accepted the position 5 months ago. Wasn't he one of the big reasons Bryce Brown signed here? Why would he leave so abruptly?

Hopefully we can get an equal or better replacement. Seemed like Smith had done a good job thus far.

From what I know, Kiffin and O wanted to give Smith individual workouts for certain players to help them get over the hump. In the Football Time article Smith said that the coaches let him take care of things like that. That's something that may have rubbed him the wrong way. My speculation purely though.

sounds like philosphies didnt match each other.... waited till kids get a break with memorial wknd to leave... I would expect that we already have a replacement in Aaron Ausmus who Coach O and CLK are very fond of with developing big time talent.

I dont have volquest. Is the article just saying he is gone but with no reasoning. kinda like a GVX article.
