I would've thought the same thing about the minor violation from the twitter post.

Not to mention ESPN's headline "Ex-Vols guard Smith charged in home invasion" in the College Football section. It makes it sound like some former OL was arrested.

I'm really disappointed over this. I had high hopes for what smith could do for us. Say what you will about the gamecocks but they were always physically tough.

The other stuff I could bypass, but already losing a staff member is just ridiculous to me.

I Agree.. I was extremely excited about our kids being more physical..

Let's hope this isn't another sign of things to come..

Having a staff member just abruptly quit.. is never a good sign?

The s&c coach will have much more impact on this. Coach O will make our d-line tougher, but the s&c coach is the one who will affect the whole team.

Sucks, no doubt about. Especially after only 5 months... I'd really like to understand the reason. I'm all for Kiffin and excited about football again, but I kind of agree with the comment about where there is smoke there is fire.

What's going on with our program?

Obviously you were wrong on this one too ... Everyone on this board seemed to love Smith when it was announced he was coming ... It will be interesting to see how many jump off his band wagon now that he's leaving, and claim he wasn't that good anyway... I hate to say it but some so called Vol Fans make me sick ...
