I know these kids make mistakes and people always say its because they are kids, but they always have an adult helping them make these decisions. I put this one on Granny. I hope granny feels good about possibly ruining her grandsons career.

i dont think i can express how absolutley stupid, idiodic, moronic, and down right effed up it would be to turn him down IF he did decided to transfer to UT.

i dont care if he did spurn us, IF he were ever to decide to transfer to UT, it would not only be a great addition of talent, but it would hurt UGA down the road too. im more than okay with both.

so for everyone that is crying over a teenaged kid that made a mistake (lol), you can shove it. he has too much talent/potential that im sure our coaches would better utilize than M. Richt and staff over in Georgia...

No need to pile on, I'm sure it was a tough decision but he has to live with that decision and make the most of his career with the preacher man....

Right back at ya pal.

Between his facebook, radio segment and television appearance, I could care less what's going on with Marlon Brown. If it were up to me I'd laugh in his face if he wanted to come to UT. We have guys coming in that want to be part of the football team and the University. Adios Marlon... don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

P.S. Send my love to granny...

Give me a break he had a televised announcement just like most 5 star guys do and he picked UGA. He didn't embarass UT.

He was blowing smoke up UT's butt all the way to signing day..... That's where I made my reference.....Many of us reading his interviews believed he was All-Vol.

Exactly.
Even as some follow recruiting pretty tightly, most knew it was a UGA vs UT battle. Then grandma claims she smelled Whiskey on Orgeron's breath.

Stay Classy Grandma. Hope you liked Richts Reaction to that Gatorade bath.

Marlon played against some of the worst HS talent in Memphis. From what I know from some UGA fans/students that I went to H.S. with it shows on the practice field. Teauge was a far better get.

Do we really know how talented he is? He couldn't get on the field for UGA except for a few plays against us. AJ Green soaked up a lot of catches, but are their #2 and #3 receivers that much better than him? I would think long and hard before letting him transfer here, especially with all the talent coming in next year at WR. Two words: Brandon Warren.

When you transfer within the conference, you have to sit out 2 years, unless you pull a Brent Scheaffer and go to a juco first...

Are you sure? I am almost positive Justin Boren transferred from Michigan to OSU and only sat out 1 year. If he did transfer, I am sure UGA would make to where he couldnt transfer to ANY other SEC school if he wanted his full release to accept a scholarship. Actually, now that I said that, Boren gave up his athletic scholarship to be able to go to OSU.....so Brown would have that option.

Brown didn't lose his redshirt because he played in UT game, he lost it because he played 7 games, even though he had only 2 catches (all in UT game). According to NCAA rule, one can not play more than 25% of the games, namely 3 games on 12-game schedule in order to be redshirted.
