Marlon Brown Unhappy at GA

The speculation in this thread is off the hook, as is the sanity of anyone who thinks this coaching staff wouldn't roll out the red carpet if MB went juco and came calling.

Actually its silly to discuss supposedly disgruntled players until they actually quit the team which rarely happens.

Supposedly he is mad they burned up his Reshirt for 2 catches and 15 yards against Tennessee. The only game he played. Not sitting well with him. He wants to leave but is being encouraged by the coaches to stick it out.

When you let grandma make your decisions for you stuff like this happens.

This is per a thread on Dawgvent btw.

Enough said.

If you transfer from one SEC school to another SEC school, it is two years. That is why Scheaffer had to side step the rule and go to juco.
My wife's cousin, Shane Elam, transferred from Tennessee to Ole Miss and sat out one year.

Right back at ya pal.

Between his facebook, radio segment and television appearance, I could care less what's going on with Marlon Brown. If it were up to me I'd laugh in his face if he wanted to come to UT. We have guys coming in that want to be part of the football team and the University. Adios Marlon... don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

P.S. Send my love to granny...

Agreed. I don't care about MB, hope he and Granny enjoy wasting a career in UGA. He spurned us, got nothing for ya sissy. Must feel good not being able to find the field for a losing team, get used to it...You career is heading in the same direction as UGA VII and I couldn't have a bigger smile on my face.

Unfortunately I think of Brandon Warren when I think of Marlon... Probably not fair, but I do.

Hard to have much respect for a guy who outsourced one of the dozen biggest decisions of his life to his grandmother's religious sensibilities. Can't say I feel badly for him at all.

Exactly.
Even as some follow recruiting pretty tightly, most knew it was a UGA vs UT battle. Then grandma claims she smelled Whiskey on Orgeron's breath.

Wait wait wait... is that seriously what the whole 'difference of opinion' between Orgeron and Grandma that Brown alluded too was all about?

This is a good example of why parents or guardians should let these guys make their decisions on things that will effect the rest of their lives! You have to give the Mannings credit for letting their kids make their own decision about which school they played for!

He should switch to Vodka before home visits..... no smell.

Really isn't called for. I was just as disappointed as everyone when Marlon chose UGA over UT, but do you really have to act like that?

We would take him in a heartbeat if he decided to transfer.

IF (and that is a big IF) he asked for a transfer, I doubt CMR will let him attend UT or any other SEC university. (Sorry, Vol in Miami already made this point)

Yes, but their is no way in h*ll Richt would allow him to transfer to TN. If im correct he would have to set out at least 2 years to able to play in the SEC.

Unhappy at GA? I'm unhappy if I even have to drive through GA, let alone have to live or go to school there - YUCK.

Will he pull a Nuke? Then, grandma will have more than a big ******** and whiskey breath to worry about. Really though, he could have a good career at UGA if he sticks it out and competes. I hope not, but it could happen. He might have to wait until Green leaves.
