glad to see you can speak for everyone. I'll continue to say it as long as I feel the need or until Freak, GA, etc tell me to stop. You dont want to read my posts, then block me....do you get that?

You feel the need to remind everyone over and over that we aren't having a good recruiting year? We already know.

Asumnu played 4 years on the bball team, then one year on the football team. One of the best run and jump athletes we've had at this school. I

I know he played basketball. But all he did was play scout team WR for the football team.

Isn't Houston the most polluted city in America?

sadly that is very true. However it was Katrina that killed this city. But after living in a city that has as much to offer as this one, I would have a hard time going back to a podunk little city like Chatt. Throughout the year we have so many events and so much to choose from here, what choice do you have in Chatt. O'Charley's or Chilli's? "What do you want to do tonite?" "Well, we could go visit the train again."

I will say that it a beautiful part of the country though.

It's closer to Knoxville than Houston.

ND can be added to list of UT, USC and many others now. He is good friends with Golden Tate too. Grew up a Tenn fan and did visit for the USCe game and said it was one of the best times of his life.

NCAA rules prohibit contact between high school juniors and college coaches, but coaches such as Southern California's Pete Carroll, Stanford's Jim Harbaugh, Tennessee's Phillip Fulmer and Colorado's Dan Hawkins have made legal on-campus appearances.
"It wasn't just (Carroll)," Harding athletic director and boys basketball coach Kevin 'Speedy' Starks pointed out. "He walked in and there's five (USC assistants) with him."
Derrick, too, was floored.
"Carroll flew his staff here and they walked our halls. They can't see Marlon, but they were here just to be seen and to be known.
"At one point, (Oklahoma) was in my office, USC walked in, and then, when I walked the OU guy to the parking lot, LSU was coming in -- all on the same day."
Last Friday, Notre Dame offensive coordinator Michael Haywood personally delivered a written scholarship offer for Brown to the school.
"The funny thing about it is I opened the letter, and it was gold," said a blushing Brown, who added that "he doesn't really care" about being ranked among the nation's top junior football prospects.

After reading this article and hearing all of the hype, we have to get this guy. He's the best prospect from our state and we must have him. I wish all of the volnation posters could get his mailing address and each send him a letter telling him how much we want him to be a Vol. Is that legal and if it is why doesn't someone get his address and let's all send him a letter. If he got 1000 letters from us fans, I think it would push him to Tennessee.
