the new article on volquest about marlon was a very good sign he talked a lot about tennessee and said he was going to play both football and basketball and said he was really impressed with the vols first commit jeron stokes and says he likes the competiton and he said that he going to try to make it to the orange n white game but may hav a bball tournament and he will take a visit in may sometime but said he would like to make a decsion by the end of summer but says it highly likely and said he doesnt want to be a signing day guy but may have to be.... in my opinion i think we land him

If we can land Marlon it will be big.

If we can get him committed by the end of the summer it would be HUGE.

I just think he is gonna be a Vol. Too much positive surrounding the whole thing and him growing up a Vol fan doesnt hurt either.

That is very good news about his interview. I have read elsewhere that he will not commit on signing day, and he may make a commitment after signing day similar to Terrelle Pryor due to his busy schedule. If he does sign in the summer, that would be huge for our momentum in recruiting after getting two top 5 WR's.

Committing and signing are two different things.

He really likes Latrell Scott and the coaching staff at Tennessee, but he wants to take all his visits before he commits.

I think he will commit to us in the end but just imagine who else he could bring in if he commited in the summer.

He could also help in basketball recruiting since he is really good friends with leslie mcdonald. They play AAU together in Memphis.
