Marlon Brown

From there, the Lions led 7-6 -- and Brown took over the game.
With 3:33 to play in the first quarter, Brown carried a screen pass 34 yards for a touchdown. Then with 2:38 to play in the half, Brown took a handoff out of the backfield and scored from 59 yards.
During the first half, Brown also had an interception and a 44-yard touchdown reception nullified by penalties.

From UGASports.....Has scheduled an official visit to Georgia for September 27th. Says he'll take an unofficial to LSU and officials to Tennessee, Florida, Ohio State, USC and Georgia. Says that they are his top 6 and will remain that way until he makes a decision. Will make a decision on signing day and says he will not be naming a leader at any point.

I'm not sold on Brown. I don't know what it is, but he just doesn't show me that "flash" we need. Maybe I am wrong, but he seems like a better fit at TE than WR.

Did you notice that there is already a MB thread with almost 300 posts?

Brown said he talks with coaches from all the schools in he is interested in including Vol receivers coach Latrell Scott.

"Yes, we talk a good bit," Brown admitted. "I call him and see how things are up there and I call coaches from other schools. I am from Memphis and was born a Vol fan. And they have an amazing head coach. I like a lot of things about Tennessee."

Also MB says that he is a big fan of Pearl, mentions basketball will play a huge part in his decision

well, we still have to beat out Georgia, and florida.. two top 5 teams.. who are as hott as anyone in da nation.
and were struggling..

we will be lucky as Hell if we can pull him

I would for real LMAO at the FLA and GA fans !!!

apparently USC wasn't really showing as much interest after his showing at their camp...

regardless, I would love to see him in Knoxville and I do think we will get him.

are you stupid? He is as close to being a five star as you can get. He is 6-5 and is rated as the number one WR athlete in the class. He is also rated number 54 for the entire class.

So was Patrick Turner. *****'s mean nothing. Learn from the past. Have you seen him play???? I have. He is not that great.

"Dark Knight"....really?

He's SLOOOOOW. in pads.

I'd still take a slow guy at 6'5" for the red zone match up problems he would create. We simply need a threat like that inside the red zone, could have used him against Florida (although I doubt our coaching staffs ability to have used him effectively).
