I was curious if UT got Garner if it would make a difference. Though Bobo and Searels are the the ones recruiting Marlon for Georgia. I still would say hes a bulldog if I had to make a guess.

I haven't read all of your posts but the ones I have read pretty much say the same thing... You always seem to believe any significant recruit will go somewhere other than UT.

You could be right. You could be just stating an honest opinion... but it really looks like you are grinding your axe in a passive aggressive way.

I honestly have no idea where any of these kids will wind up. I have stated that I'm taking a wait and see approach to CLK. OTOH, he's assembling an impressive staff that can both coach and recruit. With one month until NSD, I'd say they have a better than average chance of swaying some of these guys and especially those who grew up UT fans like Brown and Teague.

They may not get them... but I wouldn't get too smug if I were you.

Whatever man. I have no axe to grind, and I am not trying to down UT in my assments. Fact is I am impressed with what the UT staff is doing so far. I am sure in the years to come they will be a recruiting powerhouse. I am just stating my OPIONINS based on what I have heard. Fact is Brown is that he is not giving any hints to what he is thinking. We only have his actions to go on. He has took many visits to Athens on his own dime and many UGA insiders feel he is a bulldog, so thats why I am guessing UGA. I don't know for sure. I am sure the vols still have shot.It is not to knock the vols in my assement. If I was wanting to come over to a UT forum and start trouble I would be running off at the mouth about how Florida was going to land all these top recruits and UT dont have a chance. I am just stating stuff I believe.

But if it isn't some type of grudge then maybe some concern? Worry?

FTR, I'm maybe among a minority that hopes UT "misses" on Brown. He doesn't seem to stand out at all when playing against better players. From what I can tell from highlight clips and the reporting being done, he's a slower version of Abrams-Ward who might be the guy to blossom in CLK's scheme. I'll also be interested to see if the new staff can get the potential out of Ahmad Paige who everyone including UF wanted.

Teague OTOH is someone I'd like to see at UT. I think he has playmaking ability that will get lost in the crowd at UF. It will be a real shame for him personally if he doesn't go somewhere else.

I agree with you. If Marlon was from anywhere other than Tn, I'd pass on him. He is pretty overrated.

huh huh huh....he said ASSments:crazy: Clam I wouldn't be suprised if Brown told us all to go to he11 and went to Ohio St...but as stated earlier, I think we suprise some people by NSD.:thumbsup:

Yeah sure. I'm worried to death, and I am hoping that making you think these recruits are going someplace else will help make me feel better! While I am impressed with UT and respect them, I am certainly not scared of them. Stop reading into my comments looking for a reason to bash me.


govols 87, you might well be right. One thing is for sure this kid has been hard to read. As I stated before I don't think he was a clue yet really.
