That is correct! My brother is best friends with the Head Coach at Harding Academy where Marlon plays and he told my brother it's us and UGA!

The only thing that sucks is that the Coach wont steer him to UT or any other school. He wants to stay out of it and let the athletes decide where to go. If it were me, every top recruit that came out of Memphis would be wearing ORANGE!

Guess we will find out next month!

I'm glad the coach is staying out of it. You can lose a recruit like that. Check Ronald Johnson out at USC. His coach pushed Michigan so hard that he dropped them from the list and signed with USC.

You're probably right. It is his future so I know there's other things to worry about like an education...but I'm sure Marlon is looking for playing time I just can't see why he would want to go to UGA over us....especially if Stafford leaves! There will be an unproven QB at both schools so why not come to UT and be a part of something great plus youi're still in state!?

If Ed O hasn't lost any touch on his recruiting pitch, maybe after the visit from him and Monte today we put some distance between us and Georgia.

I don't care whop get's him here just as long as he comes! He did say in an interview that what he is looking for is a good coaching staff that he likes, immediate playing time, and a offense that can stretch the field.

I think we have the first 2 sewed up but the only thing that's hurting us is that our passing offense was nonexistent last year. Hopefully our staff will reel the Big TN fish in!

Looked good in the UA game, Id say this guys talent mixed with the fact that hes in-state makes him our number one priority at wide out.

Will get a visit from coaches on Friday. Says him and Kiffin are creating a good relationship.

Marlon really impressed me...I was really high on him because his JR year highlights really are remarkable. I think he is a must get for us now. Kiffin obviously thinks the same if he's going back on Friday.
