Trust me I've read the entire post as well as the entire thread and I just flat out disagree with you. I think Marlon has the size and athleticism and if coupled with good coaching and a good game plan he could be a gamebreaker...when it comes to talent evaluation I'll go with all the big time program recruiters like O, Richt, Tressel, Miles, Meyer....the list goes on and on. I watched the Tenn. state title game and he ruled with an iron fist. You may have some personal vendetta out on him but all of us can't be wrong....the potential is there. I'm sure Michael Crabtree had his fair share of doubters and now how stupid do they look.
No personal vendetta against him...come on!
Your opinion is like mine....nothing compared to the real coaches. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS???? I like the kid. He can play. Is he a kid that will break a game wide open? NO. I don't think so. I have seen him play enough...in person...to form MY opinion. You have yours. He can help the program. NO QUESTION! He is not the most important recruit in this class (talent wise). He could be the most important because he is instate! I(we) need him.
Based on the State Champ game.....I was there and I, you, and 50% of the posters on here (in our prime) could have dominated that game. Those teams SUCKED! Sorry. that does not count. He did well in the AA game. Not practice, but the game. That is a concern to me. Give me a little break for understanding the game and talent. I'm not a genious, but I'm not blind either.
