I call BS on the Coach O cussing rumor, but the time he will spend with the coaches and the influence they will have on him for the next few years, can not be taken lightly
I'm just failing to see how CMR's faith would have much of an impact on Brown. Does the Brown family think that CMR will be inviting him to church every sunday and over to the house aterwards for sweet tea and potato salad? Maybe it's me, but I'm naturally suspcicous of those who try to gain favor because of their faith and CMR will probably have limited one on one contact with MB.

I live in Memphis and have dinner with an assistant coach from Harding Academy (Marlon's High School) once a week. He told me that Marlon's grandmother had a real problem with Coach O during his in home visit ....especially his use of profanity. He told me that when the CEO was leaving, he was told that he should not expect to speak to Marlon that way next year, if he was to end up in Knoxville.
Troll In Our Midst
The strong Christian environment at Georgia has been a major positive for the Bulldogs in his recruitment as well.
Like I have been saying, he will be a Bulldog
Not unless she was in another room. Coach O is a pretty intense guy
Good thing you are here to sort through all of the BS being spread around Memphis from your throne in........ wait......Chattanooga?
You come on....man. That yaw yaw yaw thing....did you come up with that?Yeah...I'm sure Ed is just cursing away...."yaw yaw yaw...muthafugda!!!....come to Knoxville and be the fudgin man Marlon mutha fudgin Brown....hey grandma muthafudging Brown!!! how the fudge you been doing granny??? We gonna turn yo fudgin grandson into the mutha fudgin anti-christ...what the fudge yo think about that shite granny brown???....yaw yaw yaw wash my mouth out with soap mutha fudgers!!!!" - -come on man.

People that have no faith cant quite understand why it is important to be surrounded by like minded believers. I can 100% understand why his grandmother would want her impressionable grandson who is leaving home for the first time to have a Christian coach. CMR is the real deal on that account.

Put yourself in Grandma's shoes. Her grandson is moving away. He's moving away from her influence. As a Christian, it's understandable that an important thing to her is that she do the best she can ensuring he gets the right kind of people around him.
Saying you are a Christian does not automatically make a person a good influence or the right kind of person to be around. I see your point that most people naturally trust someone who claims to be a Christian but that has also gotten a lot of people in trouble. JMO, but judge the coach on what he does and not what he says he believes.
The Buckeyes are also waiting on receiver Marlon Brown of Harding Academy in Memphis, Tenn. One of the top five receiver pro-spects nationally, he is considering Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Ohio State. He is not likely to name his choice until Wednesday, the first day that national letters of intent can be signed, but many analysts are predicting Tennessee.
Bucknuts recruiting analyst Bill Kurelic said that, considering OSU already has three receivers and three offensive linemen in the 2009 class, there is no urgency in landing Brown or Hall, that neither would make nor break the highly ranked class.
