Why don't we discuss abortion while we are at it. It is what it is. Christians will be tested no matter what environment they choose. This is all a wash and it boils down to an individual's choice of religion and his commitment to it. There is no college that a football player can attended that he will not face some type of temptation. Using it as a tool of recruiting is total nonsense. It opens up a can of worms that no school can claim that they are sin free. MB choice of GA over TN because of the staff's religious beliefs is an excuse to go to GA nothing more or less.

You are basically saying that personal integrity has no relevance in choosing who will be the most influential person in your college career.

I will have to disagree completely. Personal integrity would have everything to do with my decision.

If Marlon goes to Georgia because he feels a connection with Richt whether it is his faith or something else, it is not an excuse. It is rediculous to say that.

There are too many rumors and inuendos on this board about CEO and CLK versus CMR's religious beliefs or if they have any at all. I think that aspect of this argument is hog wash. Connecting to CMR is a different assumption of which I can accept.

Speculating that GA's staff is more holier that UT is just what it is speculation and opinion. Assuming CEO went into MBs house and cursed like a sailor is a fact or is it rumor?

What it is, is that it is what someone wants to introduce this aspect into the recruitment of this player which is again Hogwash.

In otherwords, I can accept that MB had a connection with CMR but I cannot accept the rumor that it was because he would be in a less sin filled environment at GA.

Ever heard of Christian Athletes we have plenty of them.

so, since we believe that he is coming on campus in about 1 hour... How big do you think this visit is on his decision?

Since basketball is so big to Marlon can you imagine how he will feel when he goes to the UT vs UF game tonight. The atmosphere will blow him away. These games can really impress a recruit. Can you imagine these same recruits then going to UGA and visiting and going to one of their games....what a let down. I know they are basing it on football, coaches etc. But a kid cannot help but be impressed going to a big time place like Thompson Boling Area....even when we lose. Marlon's visit is huge.

That is great!!!! Anyone on Campus post a pic? I hope CBP gets another one from FL today, that sure would be an awesome emotional place for a recruit.

Again, MB is the recruit that matters the most to UT by far IMO for locking down the state, making a statement (from his press conference), and getting big help in a needed area (WR)

Hey all, this is my first post! I've been lurking for quite some time and figured i'd finally post since i just so happen to have a pic of the rock.

Hopefully Marlon got into town a little before noon like expected because otherwise he never saw it. I along with the a couple of other members of the Orange Nation painted it to the tune of "OUTLIVE" around 12:30.

Funny story about while we were painting it though. After we got our base coat on, this car parks on the side of the road and someone in a black UT button up approaches us with a little request. He wanted "Nu'keese 4 heisman at UT" somewhere on the rock. After making sure with him that we weren't making any recruiting violations in doing so we agreed. Upon leaving he told us his name is "Scott" Thompson. Maybe the last name is a coincidence, but I couldn't find anyone in the athletic department by the name of Scott Thompson and did he ever look at lot like Lance Thompson. Not to take the topic away from Marlon Brown, but does anyone happen to know who is the lead recruiter on Richardson?

I also failed to mention that apparently an suv with CLK drove by while we were painting. I can only wonder if perhaps Marlon was in there with him...
