this sucks, was around the ex and the kids most of the day today, due to a couple of B-day parties..
I see them a lot 3-4 days a week, for their sports, soccer, cheer, TKD, hockey, so it's not unusual to be around them. The kids are doing great, and my ex is sociable and as unemotional about the whole thing as anyone could imagine, but it rips my heart out.

Hang in there, it will get better. There are plenty of women that are looking for good men and you'll have fun browsing. Just stay away from the bi-polar ones.

Remember, the best revenge is happiness.

I knew it would be tough, and I'm only 2 weeks into it, so I just need more time to go by

Be good to your kids (including not saying anything bad about their mom regardless of how hard that may get.)

I'm telling you from experience, when parents divorce with kids and one parent downs the other without cause, the kids eventually figure it out.

agreed, I'm not going to bad mouth her

Arky, Smitty and anyone else, I have no words of wisdom for you. Been awhile since I've been married. You'll fare well and make it through these tough times. Just thinking about y'all.

My dad tried that stunt for a long time. You're absolutely correct volly.

There are resources you can use other than the three counseling sessions you get. And it sounds like you've already started looking into that. :good!:

You and she are in my prayers.

Thanks

thanks Sly. I'm changing all the wrong things I was doing but she says too late. We'll see I guess.

Don't replace your wife with alcohol cause alcohol wont love you back. My words of wisdom for this thread.

The only the thing that could replace my wife is my wife, and sometimes your wife won't love you back.

Drinking never really seemed like it would help me deal with losing my family honestly. Nothing can. Like I said before, if there was something I wanted to replace my family with I would have already done it.
