We will definately have to get together this Spring and head out there for the spawn, the Ol' Jon Boat Ramp area was rocking with big bass last year, me and friend won a couple good money tournaments out of there.

Won't be long till Spring Turkey Time!!

Best time for crappie in white oak is jan and feb. Seriously, teague sounds like he would disappoint Florida if he committed elsewhere.

Ok - I will stay on thread topic on this part. I hope we get Teague, he is in state and it will prove that Kiffin said we need to lock down instate talen and he meant it.

Off topic- I have a place at Birdsong near Camden. Love it down there, too bad I dont get down there much being in school and all and married. I like ot fish near the power plant in New Johnsonville and i have a couple of spots between there and Eva. I might get down there in the spring and see if i can get some nice fish.

Teague is considered a silent to UF being recruited by Allen to join him at LSU.

For what it's worth - I'm almost positive Teague is not a silent commit. Kiffin's really got him thinking. I don't know if we'll land him though, especially factoring in that Saban will be in Paris Monday as another person in his ear.

I do think Teague was a silent to UF at one point. Maybe not now though. Kiffin has gotten in his ear.

I've never been really high on Teague, but I just watched two of his videos and I've changed my mind. He's very fast and shows good vision. Looks like a steal.

I still think he's a Flordia lean, last I heard he said he was going to consider the Vols, but Kiffin got us on the board because he didn't have any interest at all in us before he met with Kiffin.

Yeah, I hate to say it but it feels like there is alot of ground to make up with Teague. There problem is that there is little time. This guy would be a huge commit though if Kiffin does change his mind.

A little side note is Gordon and Rogers were on the all-star team with Teague and he said that they have been in his ear all week. Little things like that can make a big difference. So who knows :dunno:

It would be sweet to keep another in-state player where he belongs. We've done way too poorly with that in more recent years. There was a time when every boy in Tennessee dreamed of wearing the Orange one day. I hope Kiffin helps us get back to that.

We'll still need help from others, but we need a core of players who start with a passion for Tennessee football. Of course, sometimes the most passionate players are legacy players like Berry who grow up outside the state, but with orange blood from birth.

I'm proud that Gordon was Kiffin's first commitment! Let's hope Teague and other Volunteer state standouts follow soon.

CPF really blew it on Teague. Kiffin has some work to do to catch up but it is possible. I'd say he is 80-20 Florida right now.
