See that's the thing about reading comprehension. Show me where I said Duke would flat out beat UK. He said he was so sure of UK so he should take the bet. Show me where I said I was very confident Duke would beat UK. Try again.

With all this talk, im starting to feel that anything less than championship will be seriously underachieving. I feel that apart from the top 3-5 teams, the field is weak. There isnt much chance that UK loses before sweet sixteen. But i could see a team get hot against UK and get Davis in foul trouble early, resulting in a close game.

To win 20 games every year? Sure. And Memphis has produced good recruits, but it's not like you can fill out a national championship roster just from Memphis. And how many Final Fours did Memphis go to before Calipari? Two. Sure, it's a good basketball school, but it wasn't a consistent national power till he got there. Also, how has Josh Pastner done at Memphis?

And that is all it takes. UK may very well be the best team in the country and the most talented, but in a one game setting even the best teams can lose to a lesser opponent. That's exactly why I think UK won't win it again this year, especially with a very average in game coach on the bench.

I tend to be one of the more realistic people here so don't have like I show a ridiculous bias. I clearly have one, but you over exaggerate it.

I don't think UK will win it all this year, but they should. I think the Wall team was great, it obviously had star power and if you categorize success based off of star quality then yes, they did "fail" in some ways.

But it wasn't a useless season. Anytime you take young players like that and go Elite Eight it's pretty exciting for the fans (especially after Billy.)

I am going to say that that this years team is a better TEAM. The Wall team had better talent but the personalities have not gelled together like this team in the least bit. UK also has a senior in Miller that helps keep this team a lot more grounded than anyone on the Wall team. To the people saying UK will not win it, who would you pick over them in a game head to head and why?

Only way I see them losing is if a team gets hot from three and Davis gets in foul trouble. But even then KY would find a way to make it close
