Hmm you'd think the way his road record gets bashed we were one of the worst in the league.

Winning on the road isn't easy, as evidenced by your numbers above. I personally enjoy a coach who takes pride in protecting home court and that seems to be something we did this year, by my count we were 13-2 at home this year. So we were 13-2 at home, 4-7 road and 2-1 neutral. The ones that got us were OOC road, we really needed to win 1 of those this year, hopefully we do better next year at that and that will bring confidence to comfermce road games.

I'd really like to add a couple road games against teams we should beat, low risk but high reward. Say against a Belmont, UTC or MTSU...someone who we should beat but will have a good record so it really helps our SOS. A win at MTSU this year would've been huge, should we win that game? Yes. If we would've we'd have been dancing easily, road win over RPI top 30 team.
You're in denial if you don't think it's our road performance that kept us out of the dance this season.

boring basketball and boring coach = low interest. Keep, fire, who really cares, but I would like to get our money's worth.

Being ranked most of the season and winning 23 games didn't hurt. They were an exception. try again.

Not trying to argue, simply saying we could've gotten in regardless of our road record. If we would've beaten Georgia at home or Alabama on a neutral court we'd have been in even with our road record.

So no it wasn't our road record that kept us out, try again.

And if total wins are all that matters then we should rethink our scheduling philosophy. We should play an OOC schedule like MTSU and ole miss and pad our win totals.

Not sure I follow your reasoning.
We were edged out by Boise and LaSalle. Both had top 25 rpi road wins. Boise even had a losing road record.
Road performance speaks loud.

So if we beat georgia at home or Alabama in the SECT we wouldn't have gotten in?

That would be conjecture. No evidence either way.

In your opinion? Lunardi was dead on with his picks, he said with a win they were in...not a 100% but pretty good evidence.

Was our road woes a contributing factor? Absolutely. However, it wasn't the sole reason we were left out is all I'm saying. If we'd have done 1 of a handful of things we'd have been in.

SEC?
Of the top 25 rpi teams this season, 2 have losing road records.
Need to set your goals a little higher.

I was simply answering a question, the fact remains though. Ole Miss, if you haven't noticed are the SEC champs, had the same away record as we did.

Hey. I will give you one fact.
One more bucket against Georgetown and we'd be dancin.
that's the kind of season it's been.

Another fact...beat Georgia at home, Memphis at home, Bama at home, Bama on neutral court or Okie State on neutral court and we are dancing regardless of our road record.

His winning 61.8% percentage is completely over shadowed by his road percent which is 31.8%.
Until he fixes that he can't be considered a good coach much less be dancing.

Good post. Always two sides to every story.
